Role Description Primary responsibility is to configure and provide functional and technical help for specific applications to business and clinical users. Part of the responsibility is to partner with end users to interpret the workflow and its interdependencies. Make corrective adjustments or enhancements as needed. This role is the central point of communication for various users and coordinates all activities for the Patient Access organization. Assist with testing, recommend corrective actions, and resolve problems within the software application. The pay range for this position is $34.58/hour (entry level qualifications) - $53.60/hour (highly experienced). The specific rate will depend upon the successful candidate's specific qualifications and prior experience. Essential Functions of the Role - Analyze and document workflows, data collection processes, end-user reporting needs, and technical issues, incorporating both vendor requirements and internal stakeholder considerations. - Implement system updates and changes, and clearly communicate impacts to super users and end users. - Participate in leadership huddles and support the operationalization of strategic decisions and outcomes. - Identify opportunities to refine template standards, reduce complexity, and improve long-term sustainability of specialty access models. - Serve as a functional and technical Subject Matter Expert on the Epic application and Baylor Scott and White workflows. Apply good knowledge of the technology and enterprise processes. Collaborate closely with all teams to drive a holistic patient perspective. - Create, modify and track system build timely and effectively. - Participate in the quality assurance process for the team to ensure that the team is meeting not only turnaround time SLA’s but also maintaining a high level of accuracy on all updates. - Provide Application Support, implement system updates and changes, and communicate those changes to super users and end users. - Engage, manage, communicate and earn the care and respect of all stakeholders. - Developing a strong collaborative relationship with stakeholders from related teams and clinical leadership is imperative for this role. - Train and mentor Application Analysts. - Solve problems by studying business issues/requirements, examining both data and workflows and synthesizing key messages. Key Success Factors - Interpret end user workflows. Know the inputs and outputs from both end user and patient perspectives. - Ability and experience expertise end user workflow and owning the technical components of that workflow. - Proficient with word processing, spreadsheets, workflow tools, and email software applications in an intermediate capacity. - Demonstrates customer-oriented service excellence values. - Self-motivated with ability to identify and resolve issues, and advance personal knowledge. - Ability to execute complex tasks through organization and detail-oriented approach. - Demonstrates excellent relational communication skills among facility customers and team members. - A motivated, quick learner of software and information technology. - Proficient in accurate, thorough, and complete documentation. - Strong Epic application knowledge to build, test, help, and train. - Experience in Hospital Business or Clinic environment preferred. Qualifications - EDUCATION - Bachelor's or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification - EXPERIENCE - 2 Years of Experience - CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - Epic Certification (EPICCERT): Must have EPICACRD or EPICCERT. Role Description We are seeking an Aquaculture / Fisheries ESA-MSA Consultation Specialist to support NOAA National Marine Fisheries Service, West Coast Region, Oregon Washington Coastal Office. This role focuses on ESA, MSA, FWCA, MMPA, and NEPA consultation support for Washington aquaculture activities, including shellfish, finfish, and seaweed aquaculture, while also supporting related biological and habitat consultation work as needed. Key Responsibilities - Review, gather, analyze, interpret, and synthesize scientific and technical information to evaluate environmental impacts on biological resources and aquatic habitats. - Evaluate proposed project effects from aquaculture and other human activities on fishery resources, protected species, and habitat. - Draft combined ESA Biological Opinions and MSA responses related to Biological Assessments for listed species, designated critical habitat, and essential fish habitat. - Draft ESA Letters of Concurrence, MSA responses, NEPA documents, and ESA Section 10 documentation, as needed. - Review biological assessments, permit applications, and consultation initiation packages for technical sufficiency, accuracy, and completeness. - Provide pre-consultation technical assistance to action agencies, applicants, and their representatives through written comments, oral communications, and group meetings. - Review applications for enrollment in existing programmatic consultations and draft enrollment letters or emails. - Coordinate with NMFS fish passage engineers on review of proposed designs. - Prepare consultation records and follow West Coast Region and OWCO quality assurance, electronic filing, and consultation tracking protocols. - Review habitat restoration proposals and provide technical comments. - Attend shellfish grower meetings, Washington Sea Grant Conference for Shellfish Growers, Pacific Coast Shellfish Growers Association Annual Conference, and similar technical meetings when required. - Develop schedules, track milestones, and prepare monthly progress reports.
