The Senior Technical Designer provides technical support for Men’s and Women’s, Knits and Sweaters categories within the Global CK Supply Chain organization through strong technical proficiency and organization. He or she will work with their team in order to achieve correct fits and design details from design inception through production top of line within the required calendar dates. Responsibilities: - Interact with Design and Merchandising during proto development to achieve design standards - Create and maintain all Web PDM tech packs for category-specific styles - Create and maintain proto, sample, and production status charts and reference books in conjunction with the compliance approval process for category-specific styles - Manage block, proto, and production fittings - Update all fit notes and revised size specs into PDM in a timely manner and pass to the production team - Ability to clearly communicate pattern spec and fit changes through sourcing to offshore vendors - Ensure that all protos and samples are reviewed upon arrival for trim and details - Manage proto and sample review set up - Develop and set up in-house block library - Develop industry standard points of measurement, grade rules, and tolerances and set up in PDM Qualifications: - Bachelor’s Degree in related field, or relevant work experience - Minimum of 8 years of related work experience - Category-specific expertise is essential - Experience in a retail environment is beneficial - Knowledge of pattern making and garment construction is beneficial - Seasonal execution - Budget decisions within the confines of a preset budget - Issue resolution in partnership with internal GSC Sourcing Teams / leaders - Product decisions for execution in the production pipeline - Strong organizational and follow-up skills - Professional, mature person with command presence - Excellent interpersonal skills - Proficiency in Classic / WEB PDM - Microsoft Office Suite This position is not eligible for sponsorship. Pay Range:$104,500---$141,200 PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills. Role Description The Area Manager provides leadership and oversight of design and construction related activities for large, complex (up to $250 million dollars) and/or multiple smaller scale projects that could have an aggregate value up to $250 million dollars.
