• Provide first-line client-centric legal support to our North America Sales teams on commercial and legal issues • Review and negotiate commercial agreements, including SaaS agreements, master services agreements, data processing agreements, consulting agreements, non-disclosure agreements, partnership agreements, and statements of work • Partner closely with Sales and Deal Desk stakeholders to understand the business objectives and hurdles, and drive strategic improvements • Work with internal technology teams to build AI-powered tools and processes to deliver business impact • Collaborate with other legal, compliance, and cross-functional groups to solve for the customer while effectively managing HubSpot’s risk

Job Requirements

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited law school
  • Have a minimum of 3+ years of relevant in-house legal experience
  • Are in good standing and licensed to practice law as a member of a State Bar Association or equivalent professional qualification
  • Have significant experience independently negotiating Enterprise SaaS contracts. Experience in highly-regulated industries (e.g. Financial Services and Healthcare) a plus.
  • Have excellent legal drafting and writing skills
  • Have a strong foundation in data protection and privacy law
  • Are enthusiastic about partnering cross-functionally with business stakeholders to understand strategic goals, and make informed recommendations to achieve business objectives
  • Are able to make decisions and provide advice/explain the rationale for the decision to a curious and empowered team
  • Are able to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced and transparent environment
  • Are excited to deliver solutions that go beyond existing playbooks and enablement
  • Appreciate the customer perspective and ‘solve for the customer’ mentality
  • Integrate technology and use/build AI in their daily practice to work smarter, not harder
  • Develop strong relationships based on trust with team members
  • Possess strong communication skills, especially via internal tools, Slack and Zoom (it’s how we communicate)
  • Are self-driven and solution-oriented

Position Overview: The Regional General Adjuster Specialized Claims is a senior-level claims position responsible for the full lifecycle management of highly complex and high-value commercial property claims. This includes the investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and resolution of claims that represent the company's largest damage exposures and often involve intricate coverage issues. Claims handled in this role may originate from anywhere in the country and frequently require on-site field consultation and investigation.
