Role Description The Marketing Assistant, Global Auto Care, manages initiatives that align with the corporate strategy of the Auto Care business. This role supports the Manager, Auto Care – Armor All Brand in developing distinct product solutions rooted in consumer insights. The Marketing Assistant ensures that the requirements for commercial success are incorporated, collaborating both within the department and across functions to integrate best practices into product development and marketing plans. The activities of this role aim to facilitate successful portfolio management, optimize brand growth profitability, and contribute to sustaining the overall health of the brand. Responsibilities - Assist in the development, renovation, and communication of Armor All products - Strong knowledge of the U.S. retail landscape is required for this role - Collaborate with Research & Development to merge consumer needs and applied technology into effective consumer solutions - Support brand integrity through the development and implementation of marketing elements (packaging, messaging, etc.) - Support research plans to uncover consumer needs and build differentiated, relevant opportunities for the brands - Gather competitive intelligence and continually seek to understand changing market dynamics - Support development and maintenance of global websites - Maintain Appearance Chemicals brand portals to ensure internal partners can easily access Marketing assets - Manage Appearance Chemicals global marketing budget including processing and tracking of marketing related invoices - Initiate, facilitate, and manage creation of all product samples - Coordinate and manage timely legal routing of marketing materials - May perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications - BS/BA degree with preference for Marketing or Business Administration - 1-3 years experience in Marketing, Brand & Portfolio Management, Product Development. Global marketing experience is a plus. - English proficiency required.
