Role Description The Sr. Data Engineering and Report Visualization Manager leads the end-to-end strategy, development, and delivery of enterprise data reporting and visualization solutions. This role bridges advanced data engineering practices with modern analytics and visualization design to empower data-driven decision-making across the organization. This position oversees teams responsible for BI infrastructure, data modeling, ETL processes, and Power BI dashboarding. The Senior Manager ensures the reliability of key data systems, including billing, operations, sales, and performance analytics, while establishing governance standards, scalable frameworks, and data storytelling best practices. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced consulting environment, is passionate about Gen AI and Agentic AI, stays current as the space evolves, and brings excellent communication skills to client-facing work. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (Master's preferred). - 10+ years of experience in BI, data visualization, and data engineering. - 5+ years of leadership experience managing data engineering or BI development teams. - Expertise in Power BI including advanced DAX, semantic modeling, and performance tuning. - Deep experience with Azure Data Services, Microsoft Fabric, and modern data warehouse architecture. - Proven success in implementing enterprise reporting strategies, governance practices, and KPI frameworks. - Experience with Power BI administration, deployment pipelines, and self-service enablement. - Familiarity with additional visualization tools (Tableau, Domo, D3.js) and scripting in Python. - Strong understanding of data quality, metadata, and documentation standards. - Demonstrated ability to present analytical results to senior executives and non-technical stakeholders. - Skilled in agile project management, planning, and prioritization. - Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities. - Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities. - Proven ability to build high-performing, results-driven teams in a remote environment. - Demonstrated ability to use discretion, make sound decisions, and maintain confidentiality. - Willingness and ability to work flexible hours and travel (up to 10%); will include some overnight travel. Requirements - Proactively using Gen AI and Agents at every step of the SDLC to improve quality and speed. - Oversee design and delivery of scalable BI and visualization solutions using: - Power BI (Desktop, Service, Deployment Pipelines) - Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Dataflows, Data Activator, Spark, Python) - Azure Data Services (Data Factory, Synapse, Azure SQL, Data Lake) - Ensure accuracy and integrity of billing and financial reporting data pipelines through consistent validation and process monitoring and governed ETL/ELT processes. - Lead development of tabular models, semantic layers, and data marts that support standardized metrics and cross-departmental analytics. - Oversee ETL/ELT data ingestion, transformation, and storage within governed, high-performing data environments. - Implement and oversee governance practices – including dataset certification, version control, role-based data access, and alignment with IT and Governance teams to maintain compliance, security, and data accuracy standards. - Manage BI infrastructure and integrations with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Fabric Apps, conducting regular performance, scalability, and cost optimization reviews to ensure efficient reporting and collaboration. Role Description We’re looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing team building our next-generation payments platform. This role is ideal for a seasoned full-stack engineer with recent and strong C#/.Net experience, a deep understanding of the end-to-end payments ecosystem, and a passion for growing teams while remaining technically engaged. You’ll balance technical leadership, team management, and individual mentorship, helping shape the future of our cloud-native payments infrastructure. What You’ll Do - Lead and mentor an offshore full-stack engineering team responsible for mission-critical payments systems. - Guide the technical direction of the platform, with hands-on involvement in architecture and code (primarily C#/.NET). - Drive seamless integrations with third-party payment gateways and acquirers, such as Stripe Connect, Adyen, or Worldpay. - Ensure high availability, scalability, and security in modern cloud pipeline architectures (e.g., Azure – must-have, AWS – nice-to-have). - Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver new features and enhancements. - Champion agile methodologies, especially Scrum, and drive continuous improvement in engineering processes. - Provide coaching, feedback, and career development for engineers at various levels. - Work closely with peers within R&D to support initiatives. - Take direction from VP R&D – EBS and CTO.
