Your role at DynatraceAbout the Role We are seeking a strategic and technically skilled Principal Sales Operations Analyst to be a key player in our data-driven transformation across global sales operations. In this high-impact role, you will work closely with various departments to leverage data and advanced analytics to drive sales performance and operational efficiency. You’ll be responsible for developing and delivering critical analytics solutions, mentoring junior analysts, and partnering across departments to build scalable and high-impact data products. Success in this role requires deep hands-on technical expertise, a strong understanding of modern analytics concepts, experience with sales processes and KPIs, and the ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy. Key Responsibilities - Contribute to the sales analytics strategy by executing key projects that deliver actionable insights to Sales leadership and field teams. - Build, maintain, and optimize advanced Power BI dashboards for pipeline forecasting, consumption tracking, opportunity scoring, quota setting, and churn prediction. - Integrate data science techniques to enhance segmentation, forecasting, and sales enablement initiatives, while staying informed about emerging AI capabilities in the analytics space. - Collaborate with Business Systems, the Transformation Office, and the Enterprise Data & Analytics teams to drive change management, align on SDLC practices, and uphold data governance standards. - Develop and deliver certified data products that are aligned with enterprise metrics and definitions. - Support analytics adoption by producing training content and hosting office hour sessions. Work closely with Enablement to promote dashboard, data, and action literacy. - Clearly present complex datasets and insights to stakeholders and support leadership in presentations to senior executives. - Act as a technical mentor for other analysts on the team. What will help you succeedMinimum Qualifications - At least 7 years of experience in Sales Analytics, Data Science, or Business Intelligence. - Expert-level proficiency in Power BI—including DAX, data modeling, and performance optimization. - Proficiency in Snowflake, SQL; familiarity with the application of modern AI in analytics is a plus. - Very comfortable with Salesforce (SFDC)—including reporting, data structures, and integration points. - Experience with change management and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in an enterprise environment. - Strong understanding of sales processes—including renewals, pipeline management, key metrics, and forecasting methodologies. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across departments. - Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Business, Statistics, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus. Compensation and Rewards - The base salary range for this role is $148,000 - $185,000.
