• Support the monthly close process for the company and its related entities • Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, including accruals and adjustments • Perform cash, balance sheet, and account reconciliations • Assist with tracking, capitalization, and amortization of fixed assets and debt related items • Compile and review monthly financial results for leadership review • Leverage reporting and data tools to help summarize and present financial performance • Provide support during audit cycles, including documentation preparation • Analyze budget versus actual results and flag key variances • Assist with bank covenant reporting and other compliance related requirements • Process accounts payable and expense related transactions • Participate in initiatives focused on improving and automating accounting workflows • Handle additional accounting tasks and special projects as assigned
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Open to entry level as well as early career professionals
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision
- Analytical mindset with developing problem solving skills
- Comfortable operating in a remote, fast paced environment
- CPA or active progress toward certification is a plus
