Role Description The Business Analyst and Quality Assurance Consultant supports functional analysis, testing, and release readiness activities for Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) Cloud applications. This role combines hands-on business analysis with quality assurance responsibilities, supporting HR, Payroll, and Benefits processes during an active Oracle HCM Cloud implementation. The position requires strong functional expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud and experience testing SaaS applications, including Oracle quarterly updates. Key Responsibilities - Business Analysis - Partner with HR, Payroll, and Benefits stakeholders to gather, analyze, and validate business requirements. - Translate business needs into functional specifications, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria. - Serve as a functional subject matter expert for Oracle HCM Cloud modules including Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, and Talent Management. - Support user acceptance testing by assisting stakeholders and clarifying expected system behavior. - Quality Assurance & Testing - Participate in test planning activities for Oracle HCM Cloud quarterly updates, patches, and major releases. - Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases. - Perform functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing. - Validate application behavior against business requirements and acceptance criteria. - Document, track, and communicate defects, risks, and test results. - Release Readiness & Delivery Support - Support release readiness assessments and production deployment validation. - Assist with regression testing related to Oracle quarterly updates. - Provide clear status reporting on testing progress, risks, and outcomes. - Ensure alignment between functional requirements, test coverage, and deployment readiness. Qualifications - Demonstrated hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud. - Experience supporting HR, Payroll, and Benefits business processes. - Proven background in SaaS application testing, including regression testing for Oracle quarterly updates. - Ability to perform both business analysis and quality assurance responsibilities. - Experience applying QA methodologies and test automation practices. - Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills. - Oracle HCM Cloud experience is required. Preferred Qualifications - Experience supporting Oracle HCM Cloud implementations in enterprise environments. - Familiarity with structured testing frameworks and release management processes. - Experience working in fast-paced or time-sensitive implementation projects. • Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for complex eGovernment software systems; • Prepare test plans, test cases, and test reports ensuring traceability of requirements; • Use tools such as Selenium, SoapUI, and JMeter to build and maintain automated test suites; • Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and system engineers to ensure software quality; • Participate in integration and performance testing of highly technical systems; • Identify, log, and track bugs, and work with the team to ensure timely resolution; • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes, tools, and practices.

• Provide leadership and direction by administering programs that will drive the quality programs toward completion • Maintains satisfaction as to quality through internal and external inspection services of raw materials, finished items purchased, and production operations and processes • Conducts and/or supervises studies to determine cause, effect, and corrective measures required to remedy deviations from desirable standards of quality • Confers with engineering and manufacturing personnel and in conjunction with them resolves problems of product design, specifications, materials, tooling, and production operations affecting quality • Reviews all complaints received from customers for the purpose of determining where emphasis should be placed at the plant to prevent recurrence • Conducts periodic training sessions to keep personnel informed on procedures, methods, use of equipment, and other quality assurance techniques • Plans and conducts periodic audits to ensure compliance with appropriate procedures • Champions the lean manufacturing effort • Ensures complete documentation and maintenance of quality records • Maintains reporting requirements to ensure compliance with state and federal environmental standards • Conducts periodic reviews and follows through on action items for environmental standards • Identifies cost reductions, process improvements, and work simplification methods in all areas of the plant
