Tech Lead – Payments, Cards

Bee Talents

• Defining technical direction for card and payment products in collaboration with Product and partners • Designing and building card issuance, authorization and settlement systems (credit, debit, prepaid) • Owning real-time transaction processing flows and system reliability • Leading architecture decisions in distributed, API-first systems • Managing and developing integrations with card processors, VISA networks and KYC providers • Translating business requirements into pragmatic technical solutions • Acting as a bridge between business and engineering, removing blockers and driving clarity • Staying hands-on in Go development and actively contributing to production systems • Ensuring scalability, security and performance of financial infrastructure

Job Requirements

  • Strong experience in fintech / payments / card systems
  • Hands-on experience with Go
  • Background in distributed systems and API-first architectures
  • Experience with real-time transaction processing or similar high-reliability systems
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (preferably Google Cloud)
  • Understanding of card lifecycle: authorization, clearing, settlement
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and pragmatic approach to engineering decision
