Job Description

Marketing Operations Engineer

Platform Engineering Masters

Role Description We're looking for a Marketing Operations Engineer to own and evolve the revenue operations infrastructure that powers our go-to-market motion - from signal-based prospecting and outbound execution to CRM pipelines, marketing automation, and revenue reporting. - Own the entire RevOps stack: CRM, sales automation (Clay, email sequencing, LinkedIn), marketing automation, account management (Airtable), and revenue reporting (HockeyStack). - Build signal-based outbound that automatically detects buying signals and triggers personalized campaigns through Clay workflows. - Configure cross-channel sequencing with stop-on-reply logic, shared contact state, and CRM sync. - Decouple marketing from CRM by extracting forms, email, nurturing, and ads into dedicated systems. - Build automation workflows that connect Clay → sequencers → CRM → Slack without manual steps. - Design AI agent workflows that replace manual tasks: lead research, email personalization, data enrichment. - Maintain data integrity: clean CRM data, deduplication logic, prevent duplicate outreach, sync lifecycle stages. - Evaluate and swap tools proactively before they become blockers. - Enable self-service workflows so teams execute campaigns without ops support. - Partner with leadership on GTM architecture and experimentation roadmap. Qualifications - API & workflow automation fluency (n8n, Zapier, Make). - Basic scripting (JavaScript or Python) for integrations and data transformations. - CRM platform experience (HubSpot, Attio APIs, workflows, custom objects). - GTM understanding: leads → pipeline → revenue, inbound vs outbound, deal stages. - AI-native: uses Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Windsurf to accelerate work. - Commercial mindset: prioritizes revenue impact over technical perfection. - Bias toward action: experiments fast, learns from failures. - Strong prioritization: "revenue enablement first, system perfection second." - Autonomous: works independently, comfortable with ambiguity. Benefits - Your work will directly enable a community of 35,000+ platform engineers worldwide. - Real ownership of core infrastructure, with the autonomy to shape it. - Fully remote across Europe, strong async culture, low-ego team. - Competitive salary and room to grow as our ambitions scale.
