Role Description The Healthcare Copywriter reports to the Director, Member Engagement & Communications and is responsible for developing and managing corporate communications and member-facing content that educate and inform individuals about their health benefits. The ideal candidate is an expert communicator, a skilled copywriter, and fluent in both English and Spanish, with experience crafting messaging that resonates with different audiences. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) and four (4) to six (6) years of work experience in copywriting, content marketing, or corporate communications for healthcare or employee benefits, preferred. - Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written) is required; experience in bilingual copywriting preferred. - Strong copywriting skills with experience crafting compelling marketing copy. - Professional portfolio showcasing compelling copywriting and marketing work capabilities. - Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail. - Excellent oral communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. - Proven ability to simplify complex topics into engaging, easy-to-understand content. - Strong understanding of health literacy, best practices, and experience writing for diverse populations. - Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and content management systems (CMS); familiarity with marketing automation, preferred. - Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements related to healthcare communications, preferred. - Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices, email marketing, and digital content best practices is a plus. - Internet access provided by a cable or fiber provider with 40 MB download and 10 MB upload speeds. - Home router with wired Ethernet (wireless connections and hotspots are not permitted). - A designated room for your office or steps taken to protect company information (e.g., facing computer towards wall, etc.). - A functioning smoke detector, fire extinguisher, and first aid kit on site.
