Job Requirements
- Master's degree in a relevant behavioral health or clinical field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in behavioral health clinical operations
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive management experience
- Recognized expertise in mental health and well-being
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing clinical quality frameworks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health/client information systems
- Professional proficiency in English

Role Description Responsible for the medical operations of the program. This includes the clinical and clinical business segments of the clinic. - Creates policies consistent with best practices and ensures the best practices are being followed through establishing quality assurance activities. - Oversees all aspects of medical program design involving all aspects of medical services. This includes: - Criteria for patient intake. - Required components of ongoing patient evaluation. - Dosing practices. - Buprenorphine/methadone and benzodiazepine policies. - Policies on drug screens frequency and actions on those showing unexpected results. - Policies on the use of electronic health record, treatment interventions, management of high-risk patients, management of pregnancy in methadone treatment and availability of adjunct patient outcomes. - Assume responsibility for all medical services and related vendors. - Oversee administrative discharge criteria and procedures. - Coordination of care among the program and referral sources. - Supervise nurses to include competencies and clinical decision making; verify nurses are operating within their scope of practice and delegated tasks; maintain compliance with state statutes and assist in performance reviews and disciplinary actions if needed. - Program Physician shall perform the following services: - Perform the responsibilities of a Program Physician who, under the direction of Medical Director and Program Sponsor, oversees the OTP care of patients admitted to a Facility. - Ensure and verify that each patient admitted to a Facility for Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) has a history of opioid use disorder/dependence of sufficient severity and duration for admission to an OTP, and that this history is documented. • Provides strategic clinical oversight and support of the day-to-day clinical community operations to Executive Directors, Health and Wellness Directors and clinical associates • Supports the company goals and strategies and optimizes resources to ensure quality care and service delivery • Conducts regular clinical quality audits through community site visits and audits of all health care areas to ensure compliance with Brookdale standards and state regulations, appropriate resident assessments, appropriate staffing, staff training, and quality assurance • Analyzes specific community models to support staffing of clinical positions based on community size and residents receiving services • Supports the implementation of quality care and services, and encourages the development of medical professional relationships within the community • Ensures the CARE process is being executed appropriately to address controllable resident move outs • Provides clinical guidance to field staff, when necessary, to determine appropriate level of care for resident move-ins • Participates in hiring, training, and mentoring of Health and Wellness Directors and other field level clinical associates
