Role Description We're seeking an Opportunity Coordinator that is passionate about finding and growing opportunities aligned with Flexion's fundamentals, capabilities and approaches. The ideal candidate will be adept at working in a highly collaborative environment, leveraging their skills and experience to drive growth and ensure that our projects not only meet but exceed our standards and expectations. You'll be responsible for identifying, filtering, and helping to capture new opportunities within the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. The ideal candidate brings a robust blend of strategic thinking, leadership qualities, strong attention to details, and experience delivering Digital and IT Services. - Identifying new business opportunities through the use of software tools, Flexion contacts and personal relationships - Managing a business development pipeline and reporting new opportunities - Facilitating collaborative bid evaluation discussions - Collaborating with Flexioneers to develop winning solutions and proposals - Ensuring proposals are compliant with client and Flexion compliance requirements - Nurturing relationships with client stakeholders within organizations where Flexion is delivering services - Creating customer success and account management strategies in concert with Flexioneers and customer teams - Identifying and cultivating relationships that align with Flexion’s culture and capabilities with clients, service delivery partners, and industry and technology partners - Representing Flexion at industry working groups, trade shows, and conferences fostering relationships with agency leaders and user communities Qualifications - At least 5 years working in a customer facing role in the delivery of custom software or digital services - A bachelor's degree or commensurate experience - Experience identifying public sector opportunities that directly led to the delivery of digital services - Referenced success in one or more Federal/state agencies capturing and delivering program-level work with excellent CPARS ratings and/or agency feedback - A humble, can-do attitude - Superb time-management, communication, and problem-solving skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills for negotiating deals and building relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams - Knowledge of lean and agile methodologies - Strong analytical skills to evaluate business opportunities and make data-driven decisions - Experience networking effectively to build relationships with potential clients, partners, and other stakeholders - Attention to detail and project management skills to ensure compliance and quality delivery of our responses to government client requests for proposals - An open mind, intellectual curiosity, and the desire to continuously learn from others and share what you are passionate about Benefits - Flexibility in work environment - Collaborative and creative work culture - Opportunities for continuous learning and professional development Company Description At Flexion (an agile software company that’s been delivering excellence for over 25 years), our company culture is built on autonomy, trust, and transparency.
