Role Description The Developer III assists in the maintenance and development of the Firm’s enterprise applications. - Work closely with the FileMaker team to maintain and enhance complex systems, including schema, layouts, scripts, and custom functions. - Apply established development standards consistently, including proper documentation and logging of script changes. - Demonstrate a thorough understanding of JSON and its application within development work. - Manage projects end-to-end through the Jira process, ensuring tasks are accurately tracked and updated. - Support data analysts with data processing and day-to-day operational needs. - Build strong working relationships with Subject Matter Experts to understand, document, and improve business and technical processes. - Provide high-quality user support via email, phone, and chat. - Actively contribute to team collaboration, including participation in Scrum ceremonies using tools such as Jira and Confluence. - Contribute ideas, technical input, and expertise toward team initiatives and new framework development. - Maintain awareness of how system changes impact downstream processes, demonstrating sound judgment and understanding of cause and effect. - Show clear understanding of assigned business modules and project requirements. - Execute tasks accurately by following instructions, staying within scope, and maintaining focus on assigned work. - Work independently on projects with minimal oversight while remaining aligned with team priorities. - Effectively manage time and productivity in a remote work environment, maintaining a minimum 60% productivity rating. - Maintain consistent attendance and availability during designated working hours. Qualifications - 3+ years of FileMaker experience, including experience with MBS plugin development. - Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision. - Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple assignments simultaneously. - Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. - Comfortable working within Windows 10/11 environments. - Effective oral and written communication skills, including proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation. - Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment and respond to urgent matters as needed. - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and professional backgrounds. - Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
