Job Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and business strategy
- B.A. or B.S. in Finance, Accounting, Business, Mathematics or a related field (MBA or CPA is a plus)
- Proven experience in P&L management, revenue forecasting, and financial modeling
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools
- Proven ability to use AI to enhance processes in both quality and productivity
- Strong strategic and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders and senior leadership
- Strong level of SQL expertise required
- Strong leadership abilities and the capacity to influence decision-making across the organization

Role Description We’re seeking a Renewable Energy Underwriter that is responsible for underwriting and credit analysis of renewable energy and sustainability-focused financing, including solar, energy storage, and energy efficiency projects. The role supports mission-driven growth while ensuring strong credit quality, regulatory compliance, and adherence to internal credit policies. The ideal candidate brings strong financial analysis expertise along with knowledge of renewable energy project structures, cash flow modeling, and industry-specific risks. As our Financial Analyst, Sales Performance and Compensation, you will own the numbers behind every payout and pipeline conversation, partnering with sales leaders to turn raw CRM data into decisions that move the business forward. This is a hybrid role by design (about 60% commission execution, 40% performance analytics), giving you both the rhythm of recurring close cycles and the variety of strategic deep dives.
