Role Description As an Outreach Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping members access expert medical opinions through Transcarent’s 2nd.MD program. You’ll connect with eligible members by phone, explain how the program works, answer questions, and guide them through enrollment. This is an outbound calling role for someone who is comfortable working toward goals and enjoys influencing decisions through clear, empathetic conversations. You will proactively reach out to members, communicate the value of Transcarent’s 2nd.MD service and motivate next steps. Success in this role requires strong communication skills and consistency in meeting engagement and enrollment goals while maintaining a positive, professional member experience. A Day in the Life - Make 100+ outbound calls per day to engage eligible members - Drive member activation and enrollment by clearly explaining the benefits of Transcarent and 2nd.MD services - Use consultative conversation skills to understand member needs, address concerns, and overcome objections - Support members through the end-to-end enrollment process, confirming next steps and required information - Collect relevant health and background information and route members efficiently to the appropriate clinical resources - Build rapport quickly and establish trust to support member decision-making across diverse cultural and language needs - Manage follow-up activities to re-engage members and close open enrollment opportunities - Accurately document conversations, language preference, outcomes, and next steps in internal systems - Maintain an organized pipeline of outreach and follow-up activities - Partner closely with an integrated care team to support timely care coordination - Consistently meet or exceed individual and team performance targets, including engagement and enrollment metrics Qualifications - Available to work the following schedule: Monday - Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m CST and Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm CST - Start Date: May 26th - 2+ years of experience in inside sales, member enrollment, or high-volume outreach preferred - Proven success in high-volume outbound calling environments preferred - Experience with cold calling and proactive outreach - Comfort working toward individual performance targets and goals - Strong persuasive and consultative communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information for members Requirements - Job Type: Full-time, Fully Remote - Compensation: Base rate of $20.50/hour + uncapped monthly incentive bonus based on enrollments Benefits - Competitive medical, dental, and vision coverage - Competitive 401(k) Plan with a generous company match - Flexible Time Off/Paid Time Off, 13 paid holidays - Protection Plans including Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, and Supplemental Insurance - Mental Health and Wellness benefits Company Description Transcarent is the One Place for Health and Careᵀᴹ, bringing medical, pharmacy, and point solutions together with the WayFindingᵀᴹ experience, the first and only generative AI-powered health and care platform for health consumers.
