Job Description

Senior Manager, Content and Community

Cogent Security

• Own Cogent's organic social strategy and execution (primary: LinkedIn; secondary: X/Reddit/Instagram/TikTok as appropriate). • Create a weekly content cadence across POV, product value, customer proof, research packaging, and culture/talent content. • Build "content series" that compound over time (e.g., weekly VM insights, AI security myths, remediation playbooks). • Ghostwrite for CEO, CTO, and key leaders with a strong point of view and consistent tone. • Build repeatable systems for capturing raw material: interviews, Slack mining, call notes, research briefs. • Produce and edit content: short videos, motion-lite explainers, quote cards, carousels, blog-to-social repurposing. • Use AI tools to accelerate ideation, drafting, editing, and versioning while keeping quality and credibility high. • Manage paid influencer/creator relationships (selectively and tastefully) aligned to enterprise security audiences. • Build partnerships with practitioners and communities for content collaborations: podcasts, AMAs, guest posts. • Turn threat research, AI research, or product insights into marketable stories with clear narratives and guardrails. • Coordinate with PMM on accuracy, claims, and launch timing.

Job Requirements

  • 2-5+ years in social/content roles for B2B tech (cybersecurity preferred).
  • Proven track record of growing organic presence and engagement with an enterprise audience.
  • Excellent writing skills and a sharp editorial eye. You can develop a point of view without fluff.
  • Strong production ability: you can create visually polished assets yourself or manage contractors who do.
  • Comfortable working with technical stakeholders and translating complex topics into compelling content.
  • Experience running influencer programs in B2B (not just B2C).
  • Experience packaging research: threat reports, benchmarks, original analysis.
  • Familiarity with brand safety and compliance concerns in cybersecurity marketing.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary
  • Health insurance
  • Professional development
  • Remote work options
