Systems Analyst Payments

LaFinteca

Role Description We’re looking for a Systems Analyst to own the technical analysis and end-to-end design of payment provider integrations. You’ll work hands-on with API ecosystems, deconstruct complex provider documentation, define transaction flows, and turn specs into real, live payment products. You’ll own the integration lifecycle: from technical discovery to testing and go-live-acting as the bridge between product, tech, and operations. - Analyze and map payment provider APIs and endpoints - Design end-to-end payment flows and integration blueprints - Translate business and customer needs into clear technical requirements - Own PRDs, backlog definitions, and validation with engineering teams - Lead testing and operational readiness before launch Qualifications - Proven experience in system analysis or technical product roles within payments, fintech, or financial services - Hands-on experience working with REST APIs, Swagger/OpenAPI, and tools like Postman or Insomnia - Strong understanding of payment flows, webhooks, callbacks, and real-time notifications - Comfortable working with JSON/XML, system diagrams, and sequence flows - Experience documenting requirements and managing backlogs using Jira & Confluence - Strong communication skills to work with internal teams and external providers - English is mandatory - Ukrainian (or Russian), Spanish or Portuguese is a plus Benefits - Competitive salary & impactful role – Lead projects with strategic visibility and influence key business decisions. - Flexible work location – Work from anywhere in Europe or from our innovative Barcelona office in Poblenou. - Dynamic startup environment – Join a young, fast-moving team where your ideas matter and every day brings new challenges. - Enjoy your work & perks – If in Barcelona, benefit from monthly corporate lunches at top restaurants, birthday and holiday gifts, plus complimentary hot drinks, fresh fruit, and healthy snacks. We offer a higher salary in line with qualifications and experience.
