Senior Infrastructure Project Manager

Role Description The Senior Infrastructure Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT infrastructure initiatives across a distributed enterprise environment. This role involves close collaboration with engineering, security, and business teams to drive projects such as cloud migrations, network and server upgrades, and data center transformations. The consultant will be responsible for translating business and technical requirements into actionable project plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and delivering projects on time and within scope. The role requires strong expertise in infrastructure technologies, project governance, risk management, and stakeholder communication. Additionally, the Project Manager will oversee vendor engagements, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards while operating effectively in a remote, part-time capacity. Responsibilities - Lead end-to-end delivery of infrastructure projects including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure - Manage initiatives such as cloud migrations, server upgrades, network transformations, and data center consolidation - Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables - Coordinate cross-functional teams including infrastructure engineers, security teams, vendors, and business stakeholders - Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues - Ensure adherence to IT governance, security, and compliance standards - Manage project budgets, resources, and schedules in a part-time capacity - Provide regular status reports and updates to leadership and stakeholders - Oversee vendor management and third-party deliverables - Ensure successful integration of infrastructure solutions across enterprise systems Qualifications - 8–12+ years of IT project management experience with a focus on infrastructure projects - Proven experience managing remote and distributed teams - Strong understanding of IT infrastructure (networks, servers, storage, cloud platforms) - Experience managing cloud-based projects using AWS, Azure, or GCP - Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) - Experience with tools such as Jira, MS Project, or Smartsheet - Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills Preferred Skills - PMP (Project Management Professional) certification - Experience with infrastructure security, compliance, and risk management - Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines - Experience in healthcare, finance, or government environments - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience) Eligibility - Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. - Must be able to work remotely and support U.S. business hours - Ability to work part-time (approximately 20–30 hours per week) PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR RESUME IN WORD FORMAT
