Senior Virtualization Engineer – Secret or Top Secret Clearance

PGTEK

• Deploy, configure, and maintain VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environments • Upgrade and optimize vSphere, ESXi, vSAN, and NSX infrastructures • Provide technical expertise for troubleshooting and resolving complex system issues • Ensure system security and compliance in accordance with DoD and government standards • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver seamless deployment solutions • Maintain documentation and best practices for VMware environments

Job Requirements

  • Active Secret Clearance (minimum)
  • Extensive experience in VMware vSphere, ESXi, vSAN, and NSX
  • Proven ability to deploy, upgrade, and maintain VCF environments
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel full-time to various client sites
  • VMware certifications (VCP, VCAP, or equivalent) preferred
  • Experience working in DoD or government environments preferred
  • Familiarity with automation tools and scripting for VMware deployments preferred
