Role Description This role is US Remote — Forward Deployed Engineers spend approximately 50% of their time on-site at customer facilities across North America. As a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE), you work directly with manufacturers to design, build, and deploy solutions on Tulip's Frontline Operations Platform. You operate at the intersection of solution engineering, manufacturing operations, and customer outcomes, translating real shop-floor problems into scalable, production-ready solutions. You will embed with customers at their facility to rapidly implement applications, integrations, and workflows that improve quality, productivity, and traceability across manufacturing operations. Role Description We are seeking a Sr. Data Engineer to design and implement data features utilized by hotels globally. • Prepare and manage FDOT Driveway Connection Permit applications, including technical documentation and coordination with FDOT reviewers. • Develop Traffic Impact Statements (TIS) for cities and counties throughout Florida. • Conduct operational analyses and traffic modeling using Synchro/SimTraffic, including scenario development and LOS evaluation. • Perform traffic signal design, including plans, timing sheets, and coordination plans in alignment with FDOT and local agency standards. • Prepare technical reports, design documents, and supporting calculations. • Coordinate with clients, project managers, and permitting agencies. • Support multidisciplinary teams on transportation engineering projects.
