Role Description sa.global is looking for a motivated and skilled Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant to join our dynamic consulting team in APAC! You can be located in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, or Philippines. You will play a pivotal role in guiding our clients through successful implementations and integrations of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, empowering them to optimize their business processes and achieve enhanced performance. Main Responsibilities - Cover all aspects of consulting, including presales and supporting the sales team, product demonstrations, analysis, implementation, and training of end users utilising Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (D365 BC). - Provide expertise and in-depth knowledge of the D365 BC application. - Evaluate customers' business processes against standard Microsoft Dynamics functionality. - Work collaboratively with customer stakeholders to implement and leverage D365 BC using best-practice development and implementation methodologies. - Document business requirements that express what actions a solution must take and what outcome is expected. - Perform fit-gap analysis and design and configure data migration strategies with the team. - Collaborate, manage, and lead meetings with technical consultants and client/end users. - Facilitate the customer's decision-making process and develop functional design documents that drive the development process, ensuring required modifications and customisations are addressed. - Provide onsite and offsite consulting services. - Proactively identify, analyse, and respond to issues and risks. - Foster teamwork and mentor and train consultants on best practices, project methodology, and professional client service. - Suggest areas for improvement in methodology and internal processes, along with potential solutions. - Recognise and pursue opportunities for cross-selling and additional client projects. - Design project schedules, set timelines for each team member, and delegate specific tasks to project resources. - Liaise with product vendors on any issues relevant to customers or the company's services. - Manage end-to-end project coordination and take responsibility for successful project completion within a stipulated budget. - Ensure the technical aspects of projects meet required standards for functionality, operability, and documentation. - Work with project managers and team leaders to accommodate resource changes across projects. - Keep up to date with new D365 features. - Demonstrate an ongoing commitment to continuous professional development, completing relevant certifications in a timely manner when necessary. - Represent the business professionally and positively at all times. Qualifications - Proven experience as a Subject Matter Expert in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (D365 BC). - Strong experience delivering large, complex technology projects, including full lifecycle implementations across multiple versions of D365 BC. - Excellent knowledge of core D365 BC functionality and the business processes it supports. - Experience with setup, configuration, implementation, enhancements, integration, and testing of D365 BC solutions using best-practice implementation methodologies. - Experience designing and creating test scenarios, functional test cases, and user acceptance testing (UAT). - Experience using Azure DevOps and other test management tools for all aspects, from requirements through to UAT. - Strong requirements gathering skills, with the ability to produce high-quality functional documentation. - Possess a deep understanding of software implementation lifecycles, development methodologies, operating systems, technical platforms/architecture, and application servers. - Strong business communication skills, with effective presentation and demonstration abilities, and excellent written and verbal communication in English. - Strong learning orientation with regard to new technologies and implementations. - Understanding of business intelligence concepts, including reporting and analytics. - Confident in providing support and training to users. - Strong attention to detail and a keen desire to deliver the highest quality solutions to customers. - Experience across a number of industries. - Complex problem solver with creative solutions. - Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities. - Thinks clearly and calmly under pressure. - Places emphasis on client satisfaction. - Ability to work independently and as part of a global team. - Minimum of a bachelor's degree, preferably in Information Technology or an equivalent professional qualification. - Relevant Microsoft certifications are strongly preferred. - Project Management certification is highly desirable.
