• Lead an accurate and timely month-end close process by driving solutions at scale that benefit cross-functional teams and our reporting goals. • Perform thorough review for corporate accounting related processes and transactions, such as compensation/commissions, long-term assets, operating expenses, and consolidation to ensure accuracy and compliance with US GAAP, appropriate documentation for external reporting and audit/SOX requirements. • Develop, motivate and manage a distributed high-potential accounting team across the U.S. and collaborate with offshore accounting teams in India, fostering high performance and accountability. • Lead and inspire AI and automation transformation of corporate accounting processes, and collaborate closely with Business System to design and execute initiatives from roadmap to execution. • Lead collaboration with our cross functional partners, such as Finance & Strategy, Revenue Accounting, Tax, Procurement, including but not limited to variance analysis, periodic business review results, and establish new processes when needed. Communicate the accounting implication to stakeholders across the organization. • Streamline and enhance processes and SOX compliant controls. Create efficiencies and simplification by leveraging technology solutions and automation. • Partner with accounting leadership to define key strategies, roadmap, and future operating model through alignment with business process owners.

Role Description We are seeking a hands-on Accounting Supervisor to lead the day-to-day accounting operations of a high-growth SaaS company. This role is responsible for owning key accounting processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining strong controls across cash, prepaid assets, payables, and commissions in a remote work environment. The successful candidate will also directly manage two accountants, requiring a blend of technical expertise and leadership. Responsibilities - General Ledger & Financial Close - Assist with daily general ledger activities including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis. - Active involvement in monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness. - Support external audits by preparing schedules and responding to audit requests. - Commission Accounting - Review and approve monthly sales commission calculations, ensuring accuracy and alignment with commission plans and accounting policies. - Record commission-related accruals and ensure proper expense recognition. - Cash Management & Accounts Payable - Perform daily and monthly cash management activities, including bank reconciliations and cash forecasting. - Oversee bank account administration, from establishment through closure. - Process accounts payable and other related functions, including vendor maintenance, approval workflows, and payment runs. - Ensure timely vendor payments and resolve discrepancies. - Fixed Asset Accounting - Manage the fixed asset register, including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, and impairments. - Review capital expenditure requests for proper accounting treatment. - Perform periodic fixed asset reconciliations and physical asset reviews. - Manage personal property tax filing process. - Collaboration & Ownership - Take ownership of special projects and ad hoc analyses. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA a plus). - 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a SaaS or technology environment. - Strong hands-on experience with GAAP. - Proven experience within accounts payable, cash management, and fixed asset accounting. - Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred). - Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills. - Highly detail-oriented with strong ownership and accountability. - Ability to operate in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. - Strong organizational and time-management skills. - Clear communicator in a hybrid work setting. - Process improvement mindset. Salary Range The expected base salary for the Revenue Controller role is between $90,000 and $110,000; actual salary will be commensurate with a candidate's experience, skill and location. • Play a key role in developing and running a timely and accurate monthly close • Support treasury management, monitor cash balances and partner with Finance leadership to flag risks and opportunities related to cash flow • Prepare and support quarterly tax payments and filings, coordinating with external tax advisors as needed • Own and prepare monthly bank reconciliations, prepare and review accrued expenses and related schedules • Manage prepaid expenses, including setup, amortization, and reconciliation • Prepare month-over-month (MoM) flux/variance analysis and supporting explanations • Support month-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting • Maintain and update accounting documentation, including Notion pages, close checklists, and process guides • Ensure documentation is accurate, audit-ready, and consistently maintained • Work in a fully remote environment!
