Salesforce Solution Architect

• Lead solution design across Salesforce, OmniStudio, and related enterprise platforms to support business goals, operational needs, and modernization initiatives • Translate business requirements into scalable end to end solution architectures that balance usability, maintainability, security, compliance, and performance • Partner with stakeholders to evaluate current state processes, define future state capabilities, and recommend business aligned technology solutions • Develop architecture artifacts including solution blueprints, conceptual and logical designs, integration patterns, business process flows, and implementation approaches • Design Salesforce solutions across Public Sector Solutions, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and OmniStudio capabilities such as OmniScripts, FlexCards, DataRaptors, and Integration Procedures • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible, well governed, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards and Salesforce best practices • Evaluate design alternatives, identify risks, and recommend mitigation strategies across data, integration, security, identity, and operational considerations • Support buy versus build discussions, roadmap planning, and long term application portfolio evolution • Work across Huron, partner teams, and client stakeholders to align delivery decisions with program objectives and mission needs • Participate in Agile delivery processes, including planning, backlog refinement, design reviews, demos, and retrospectives • Contribute to documentation, governance, quality practices, and reusable patterns required in public sector delivery environments • Support continuous improvement and help define standards and best practices that can be leveraged across this and future public sector engagements

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Salesforce Solution Architect, Salesforce Architect, or similar architecture leadership role
  • Strong experience translating business requirements into end to end technology solutions
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities and solution design considerations
  • Hands on experience designing solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Public Sector Solutions, and OmniStudio
  • Strong understanding of OmniStudio design patterns and capabilities, including OmniScripts, FlexCards, DataRaptors, and Integration Procedures
  • Experience with integration patterns, APIs, middleware, and cross platform data flows
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, application architecture, identity and access considerations, and secure solution design
  • Ability to assess technical tradeoffs and communicate recommendations to both business and technical audiences
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments
  • Strong facilitation, communication, stakeholder management, and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multi team, multi partner delivery setting

Role Description The Salesforce Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions on the Salesforce platform to support TPx's business operations. This role focuses exclusively on Salesforce application development, including custom code, integrations, data models, and platform automation that enable Sales, Service, and Marketing teams. Reporting to the Director of IT Solutions, the Salesforce Developer works closely with architects, administrators, business analysts, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into well-designed Salesforce solutions that align with platform best practices and organizational standards. - Design, develop, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and platform automation. - Build and maintain scalable data models, custom objects, fields, validation rules, and security configurations. - Develop and optimize Lightning experiences, including record pages, apps, and user interfaces. - Implement and maintain Salesforce automation such as Flows, approval processes, and orchestration logic. - Design and develop integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and event-driven architectures. - Write, maintain, and optimize Apex triggers, classes, batch jobs, and scheduled processes following Salesforce best practices. - Collaborate with Salesforce Administrators and Architects to ensure solutions are performant, secure, and maintainable. - Participate in release planning, deployments, and post-release support activities. - Operate autonomously in a self-directed role, owning development tasks from design through deployment. - Proactively identify opportunities to improve platform performance, scalability, and maintainability. - Partner with business analysts and stakeholders to clarify requirements and recommend optimal Salesforce solutions. - Support data integrity, access controls, and role-based security across the Salesforce platform. - Assist in managing sandbox environments, deployment pipelines, and environment consistency. - Contribute to development standards, coding guidelines, and reusable components. - Support platform monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution as needed. - Stay current with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; or equivalent professional experience. - 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience. - Strong proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce declarative automation tools. - Proven experience developing secure, scalable Salesforce solutions in enterprise environments. - Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive development efforts with minimal supervision. - Experience working in Agile delivery environments. - Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
