Role Description As a Senior Backend Developer at CodeRoad, you will be a technical cornerstone within our Item Chain Management ecosystem. You will tackle problems of diverse scope, performing deep analysis of complex data factors to transform billions of unique identities into actionable operational intelligence. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, you will receive only general guidance on new assignments, providing you the space to architect sophisticated solutions for global retail and industrial enterprises. This role is critical to the scalability and evolution of our core platform. You will be responsible for bridging high-level business requirements with advanced technical execution, ensuring our Big Data infrastructure is not only performant but future-proof. Your leadership in technical standards and best practices will directly influence the company’s technological depth and its ability to manage massive data lifecycles from source to consumption. Key Responsibilities - Design and develop advanced programming code, anchoring the backend architecture of highly scalable, distributed systems using Java SE/EE. - Lead the conceptualization and generation of robust infrastructure that enables complex Big Data sets to be accessed, processed, and analyzed in real-time. - Optimize software systems through rigorous code reviews and the implementation of modern Microservices and N-Tier architectures. - Build and maintain high-throughput data processing pipelines using Spring Batch and stream-based processing technologies. - Collaborate with stakeholders to balance business considerations with technical constraints, ensuring every solution aligns with long-term company goals. - Own the evolution of company-level best practices, standards, and DevOps policies to improve software delivery and system reliability. Qualifications - 5+ years of professional experience in Java Backend development, with deep expertise in Java SE/EE and the Spring/Spring Boot ecosystem. - Expert knowledge of Data Structures, Design Patterns, and Clean Code practices. - Extensive experience with AWS infrastructure, including S3, Kinesis, RDS, Lambdas, ECR, EKS, and Cloudfront. - Proficiency in DevOps tooling and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Terragrunt, Kubernetes). - Strong command of Oracle SQL, including stored procedures, JPA, and complex query optimization. - Experience implementing distributed caching solutions using Redis. - Ownership mindset: Ability to work independently, solve complex problems proactively, and lead technical initiatives. - Advanced English: Professional fluency in reading, writing, and speaking to collaborate effectively with US-based teams. Nice to Have - Experience with Event-Driven Architecture and message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ. - Familiarity with RAG or modern data orchestration patterns for AI-enhanced analytics. - Exposure to Supply Chain or IoT data environments at an enterprise scale.
