Job Summary: Ruggable is seeking a highly creative, detail-driven Textile Designer to join our Textile Design Team. This role requires a strong design point of view, technical precision, and the ability to translate inspiration into thoughtfully executed, production-ready rug designs. The ideal candidate brings a balance of creativity and rigor—demonstrating refined taste, strong drawing and composition skills, and a deep understanding of textile construction and engineered pattern design. • Adapt and customize existing editorial collections for different clients, contexts, pedagogical needs, and regions. • Create and organize editorial layouts for print and digital materials. • Prepare and review files for graphic production, ensuring technical quality for printing (color, formats, bleed, technical specifications, and optimal material usage). • Support the conversion of content originally produced for print into digital experiences. • Develop and maintain templates, libraries of graphic elements, and visual systems that ensure consistency and efficiency across workflows. • Ensure visual and technical quality control at all stages of the design and production process. • Organize technical specifications, files, and documentation for printing, digital publication, and internal archiving. • Contribute to improvements in workflows between design, print production, and digital development.

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Design lessons aligned to the IEB curriculum (Grades 10–12) • Guide learners through the design process, including research, conceptual development, and final product creation • Support and manage PATs and portfolio development, ensuring compliance with IEB requirements • Create and manage course content on the LMS (Canvas) in line with internal standards • Set, moderate, and mark assessments in accordance with academic policies and IEB guidelines • Provide clear, constructive, and timely feedback to learners • Track and report on learner progress and performance • Maintain consistent communication with learners and parents via approved platforms • Collaborate with Phase Heads and Subject Leads to ensure alignment and quality
