In this role, you will manage and maintain Linux servers such as RHEL, CentOS, and Ubuntu, ensuring system integrity, performance, availability, and security across enterprise environments. You will install, configure, and troubleshoot server software and services while proactively implementing and maintaining enterprise monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system health, availability, performance, and compliance visibility. You will implement and maintain security controls such as firewalls, access management, patching, and system hardening to meet federal compliance standards. The role also includes developing automation solutions using tools like Bash, Python, and Ansible to streamline administration tasks. You will oversee backup and disaster recovery processes to ensure data integrity and continuity of operations, as well as configure and troubleshoot network services such as DNS, DHCP, NFS, and VPNs. Additionally, you will respond to and resolve system incidents, conduct root cause analyses, implement preventative measures, and maintain clear technical documentation. You will contribute to and lead infrastructure projects such as upgrades, migrations, and new system implementations.
