• Define, maintain, and evolve scalable, secure, and resilient software architectures; • Provide strategic and technical direction for solutions; • Establish and disseminate technical standards and architectural best practices; • Support teams in solution design, integrations, and architectural decisions; • Ensure end-to-end quality, including performance, security, and maintainability; • Promote application observability (logs, metrics, and tracing); • Serve as a technical reference, providing mentorship and support to development teams; • Collaborate closely with Product, DevOps, SRE, and UX teams; • Contribute to the evolution of enterprise architecture and technical governance.
Job Requirements
- Knowledge of development best practices, such as SOLID, Clean Code, and automated testing;
- Experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and event-driven architecture;
- Proficiency with synchronous and asynchronous communication in distributed systems;
- Experience with messaging and asynchronous processing, applying resilience patterns;
- Knowledge of application security, including authentication, authorization, OAuth2, and JWT;
- Experience with Java (or a similar language);
- Familiarity with SQL databases (PostgreSQL and/or Oracle) and use of Redis;
- Experience in Cloud environments (AWS or GCP);
- Use of Docker for containerizing applications.

Role Description This is a remote role based out of Poland. We are seeking a highly motivated and technically adept Solution Engineer (SE) to join our growing Industrial IoT team in EMEA. The Solutions Engineer is a customer-focused technical sales professional who ensures that technical information and guidance is provided to the customer, delivering meaningful business outcomes based on Cisco’s product and services portfolio. The SE will partner with our Account Executives in a pre-sales technical function, showcasing Cisco solutions, providing customer presentations, performing technical demonstrations, creating BoMs, and running proof of concept activities. The SE will partner, consult, influence, and design solutions to allow the customer to meet their desired outcomes.
