• Lead and deliver high-impact technical demos and solution presentations tailored to structural engineers and fabricators. • Partner with sales teams to translate complex customer workflows into clear technical and business value. • Deliver expert customer training and workshops that align Trimble technology with real-world project execution. • Collaborate with global product and engineering teams to localize best practices and influence product capabilities. • Act as a technical reference during early project phases to ensure long-term customer success and adoption.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in structural engineering, steel detailing, or construction technology.
- Hands-on proficiency with Tekla Structures or similar structural modeling software.
- Proven experience in customer-facing technical roles like Sales Engineering or Technical Consulting.
- Full fluency in Spanish with professional working proficiency in English.
- Deep understanding of structural workflows, including modeling, detailing, and coordination.
- Bonus Points For: Experience with fabrication workflows or Tekla PowerFab integration. Knowledge of BIM coordination tools such as Trimble Connect and IFC workflows. Background in supporting pre-sales within a SaaS or construction tech environment.

Role Description We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Solutions Engineer to join our Solution Consulting team and support demo and proof-of-value (PoV) environments for sales, marketing, and customer success initiatives. You will collaborate with solutions architects, product managers, and developers to ensure that lab infrastructure is robust, secure, and aligned with real-world use cases. In this role, you will be responsible for: - Pre-Sales & Technical Engagement: - Partner with AEs, Solution Architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver tailored platform demonstrations, manage POC engagements, and respond to RFI/RFP requests — driving technical sales cycles to completion. - Collaborate with Customer Success to ensure seamless solution delivery and a positive post-sale customer experience. - Demo Environment & Infrastructure: - Design, deploy, and maintain virtual and physical lab environments across hybrid cloud and on-premise platforms (VMware, KVM, AWS, Azure, GCP), ensuring availability, security, and alignment with the latest product releases. - Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform) and reusable components to streamline environment provisioning and accelerate field team deployments. - Collaboration & Enablement: - Work cross-functionally with Solution Architects, Product Managers, and Field Engineering to ensure demo content reflects current product capabilities and best practices. - Maintain comprehensive documentation and troubleshooting guides, providing ongoing guidance and support to field teams on demo setup and usage.
