Role Description The Security Solutions Senior Manager — IAM is a senior domain authority who owns WWT’s Identity and Access Management capability within client engagements and the broader Security Solutions practice. This is a high-impact, client-facing leadership role requiring a rare combination of deep IAM technical mastery and mature consulting delivery experience. The successful candidate has spent their career at the intersection of enterprise IAM architecture and security consulting — equally comfortable designing a zero-trust identity architecture as presenting a strategic program roadmap to a CISO, board, or executive steering committee. The ideal candidate brings platform-depth across the full IAM stack — IGA, PAM, Access Management, cloud identity, and directory services — combined with strong command of risk management methodologies and the ability to score, benchmark, and communicate program maturity to both technical and business audiences. They hold advanced certifications and maintain current knowledge of the IAM vendor landscape, emerging threat patterns, and regulatory drivers. This role demands seasoned consulting delivery capability: leading complex multi-workstream engagements end-to-end, owning executive client relationships at CISO and VP level, facilitating high-stakes workshops, producing board-ready deliverables, and mentoring delivery teams. The Senior Manager is as effective in a discovery workshop as they are presenting at a client steering committee or advancing a pursuit conversation with an account executive. Qualifications - 12+ years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on Identity and Access Management. - Substantial hands-on experience as both a security practitioner and a security consultant. - Deep technical mastery across all IAM domains with hands-on implementation and advisory experience. - A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Assurance, or commensurate experience. - Advanced certifications demonstrating IAM and security program depth — CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, CCSP, or equivalent preferred. - Extensive knowledge of current and upcoming security technologies and operations. - Proven track record leading complex, multi-stakeholder IAM consulting engagements end-to-end. - Expert working knowledge of identity and security governance frameworks. - Hands-on technical experience spanning the full IAM implementation stack. - Demonstrated ability to lead multiple concurrent client engagements at senior levels. - Exceptional executive presence and communication skills. - Track record of leading and developing delivery teams. - Mature consulting delivery competencies. Join our Team About this opportunity: The IP Security Operations Engineer serves as the technical authority within the MS organization for the IP Security domain. This role is focused on technical ownership, operational excellence, and expert-level support of the customer's IP backbone security infrastructure. Ensures stability, performance, and continuous improvement across complex, multi-vendor security environments, acting as a key reference point for engineers, stakeholders, and vendors. What you will do: - Own the end-to-end technical operation of the customer's IP backbone security domain, ensuring high availability, resilience, and optimal performance. - Provide expert-level operational support for maintenance activities, software/hardware upgrades, and operational changes. - Act as the primary technical escalation point for complex and major IP Security incidents, leading deep root-cause analysis and driving sustainable corrective actions. - Support and mentor engineers by providing advanced troubleshooting guidance across multi-vendor security solutions (Firewalls, IPS, Authentication servers, Load Balancers, DDoS protection). - Analyze and monitor traffic behavior through firewalls, define performance baselines, and lead investigations into anomalies or service degradations. - Identify security threats, perform risk assessments, and develop mitigation strategies aligned with customer, MS, and industry security standards. - Review, validate, and technically drive IP backbone security expansions, replacements, solution designs, and optimization activities. - Coordinate and technically govern high-urgency cases and on-call escalations, ensuring fast, accurate decision-making and minimal service impact. - Interface with third-party vendors (3PP) for escalations, defect resolution, and solution optimization. - Contribute to operational maturity by defining best practices, technical guidelines, and knowledge-sharing materials. - Produce clear technical documentation, reports, and stakeholder communications to support transparency and informed decision-making. The skills you bring: - Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, IT Engineering, or equivalent. - Strong hands-on expertise in IP Security technologies and network security architectures. - Proven experience with multi-vendor firewall and security platforms (e.g., Juniper SRX, F5, Fortinet, Palo Alto). - 2-5 years of relevant experience in Network / IP Security operations, with a strong focus on complex environments and advanced troubleshooting. - Solid understanding of telecom-grade networks and service provider security challenges. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to operate effectively under pressure. - Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
