• Maintain and operate Kubernetes-based infrastructure across on-prem and AWS environments • Work with Principal Engineers and internal customers to gather requirements and design Kubernetes-based solutions • Provision, configure, and manage Kubernetes clusters with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability • Perform ongoing infrastructure maintenance, including: Operating System updates and patching, Kubernetes upgrades and lifecycle management, Supporting software updates across the platform stack • Monitor platform health and proactively improve system stability and efficiency • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and platform issues • Contribute to automation, tooling, and infrastructure-as-code initiatives • Participation in team on-call rotations

• Own the development and maintenance of design guides spanning planning, implementation, performance, segmentation, and troubleshooting. • Produce high-quality technical content including videos, demos, deployment guides. • Lead technical enablement programs for global sales teams and channel partners. • Build and maintain high-quality RFP response content and technical field resources. • Serve as a senior technical point of contact for strategic customer engagements. • Deliver rigorous competitive analysis across direct and indirect competitors. • Feed product development with actionable insights grounded in hands-on experience.

Role Description The Vice President, Global Energy Origination & Structuring Power is responsible for leading a global team of energy experts that will be on the cutting edge of securing cost-effective, reliable, and innovative power solutions to power Equinix data centers across the globe. This role encompasses oversight of all commercial aspects of identifying, due diligence, and advancing new powered-land opportunities; identifying new opportunities to source power globally, managing relationships with utility providers and independent power producers, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The Vice President, Development & Innovation will drive front end initiatives to secure innovative, reliable, and cost-effective power solutions to serve our data center customers reliably and sustainably into the future.
