Job Requirements
- Strong experience in mainframe development (COBOL and JCL).
- Advanced knowledge of DB2, including SQL, data modeling and query tuning.
- Experience handling VSAM/GDG files and processing utilities.
- Experience with CDC, DDM or large-scale data integration.
- Experience with messaging (Kafka and/or IBM MQ).
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes.
- Experience in critical, high-volume environments.
- Knowledge of integration between legacy systems and distributed architectures.
- Knowledge of the CAIXA environment is a plus.
- Experience in the credit card industry is desirable, particularly knowledge of credit card billing systems.
- Required knowledge of the IBM mainframe development environment (COBOL, CICS, DB2, TSO, VSAM, XDITER, others).
- Required experience with reverse engineering COBOL code.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum) is desirable.
- Experience in systems documentation is desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in IT required.

Role Description Everforth ECS is seeking a Senior Software Developer (USIEM) to work remotely. This role will support ECS's AESS program and is a technical hands-on position. You will be responsible for: - Working within a multi-disciplined team to design, build, secure, maintain, optimize, and document multiple Elastic Stack Enterprise solutions (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beats, ML, SIEM) deployed globally in a Federal DoD environment. - Supporting using Ansible playbook. - Performing continuous data normalization support functions. - Delivering written technical deliverables such as SOPs and/or process workflows to optimize tool usage and contribute to new capabilities. - Supporting internal engineering personnel and external customer requirements through infrastructure, data pipelines, and reporting automation.
