Customer Success Account Manager

• Own and execute a portfolio of renewal contracts within your assigned territory, ensuring timely and predictable outcomes • Mitigate churn • Implement win/win negotiation strategies that protect customer trust while driving incremental contract value • Maintain a clear and accurate rolling forecast of renewal opportunities and communicate risk early to internal stakeholders • Identify and mitigate financial attrition proactively through data-driven insights and customer engagement • Partner with Account Executives and Customer Success Managers to identify and qualify expansion opportunities at the point of renewal • Contribute to account strategy by providing insights on customer trends, competitive dynamics, and adoption challenges • Work cross-functionally with teams such as Pricing, Legal, RevOps, and Product Management to ensure renewal success and alignment with company objectives • Ensure CRM accuracy, data hygiene, and forecasting discipline across all opportunities • Leverage customer data and usage insights to assess renewal health and prioritize actions • Follow internal best practices for opportunity management, quoting, and reporting • Improve processes continuously to increase efficiency, predictability, and customer experience quality

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 2+ years of experience in Renewal Management, Account Management, or Customer Success within a SaaS environment
  • Experience in quota-carrying or target-based roles with consistent attainment of KPIs
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Gainsight, or other CRM and success management tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Spanish
  • Strong negotiation and customer communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Role Description The Account Manager (AM) is responsible for building, maintaining, and expanding strong relationships with C-suite level (CEO’s, CFO’s, COO’s), Student Groups, and other influencers/decision-makers in strategically important large accounts within the states of Colorado and Utah. Accounts include, but are not limited to: - Colleges, universities, and technical or vocational schools - Network partners - Community-based organizations and coalitions - Corporations and service sectors (such as police and fire academies and units) The AM will position NMDP Mission for optimal access and partnership within preferred donor segments and develop deep donor insights to drive growth and loyalty. The AM coordinates all activities within their territory in order to recruit potential donors to the registry. Accountabilities - Develops and executes strategies that will create access to students, employees, and key contacts within targeted accounts. - Executes persuasive presentations and drives focused on the member value proposition to recruit targeted audiences to the registry. - Develops collaborative partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders, leading without authority to drive alignment and coordination across the member recruitment teams. - Effective communication requires marketplace intelligence, evaluation of partners’ business needs, and perspective on changing dynamics within the geography. Provides sound business recommendations and demonstrates a keen ability to prioritize and execute on current and future opportunities. - Demonstrates knowledge of Cell Therapy landscape to include pathways/guidelines. Ability to articulate how NMDP partnership is important to the donor and patients we serve. - Demonstrates focused and comprehensive strategic account planning skills. Develops effective business plans to enhance ethnically diverse members through well-defined strategies and tactics. - Monitors and tracks performance of existing initiatives and adjusts accordingly based on sound business decisions. Qualifications - Knowledge of strategic account selling and planning. - Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office, with Excel skills. Requirements - Demonstrate strategic thinking, planning, and problem-solving skills. - Have a consultative, results-driven mindset grounded in how the customer thinks and makes decisions. - Build strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external partners. - Demonstrate a high degree of learning agility, easily adaptable to new, ambiguous, or difficult conditions. - Elevated level of self-awareness with the ability to translate feedback into action. - Excellent oral/written communication skills, including demonstrated ability to follow through. - Identify and meet internal/external customer needs. - Apply flexible and creative thinking when developing new business solutions. - Build consensus, gain buy-in on responsibilities, and facilitate business plans that impact multiple teams. - Strong organizational skills, relationship building skills, and project management skills. - Ability to manage conflict and prioritize. - Associates or bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, or related field. Additional Requirements - Must have a valid driver’s license. - Must be available to travel 20%. Preferred Qualifications - Previous donor/member recruitment experience is a plus. - People management experience. - Previous experience working with cross-functional teams.
