Director, Operations Process – Optimization
Greystar Real Estate Partners
• Strong program management for a portfolio of operational improvement programs, ensuring alignment with USPM strategic priorities and business objectives. • Develop professional training materials, job aids, SOPs, communications, and presentations that promote user adoption and operational understanding. • Develop roadmaps and project plans, and deliver program deliverables based on impact to customer experience and operational feasibility. • Lead and participate in cross-functional working groups and prepare polished and impact deliverables on time. • Build and maintain strategic relationships with divisional and regional operations leaders, functional executives, and key stakeholders to drive program success. • Deploy comprehensive change management strategies that drive organizational readiness, adoption, and sustain behavioral change. • Create executive-level communications, business cases, and strategic presentations for senior leadership and governance bodies. • Establish success metrics, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms to track program performance and business outcomes. • Apply deep subject matter expertise in multifamily and third-party property management to provide informed recommendations and ensure initiatives align with business objectives. • Manage program risks, issues, dependencies, budgets, and vendor relationships and escalate where appropriate. • Drive the development of standardized methodologies, tools, and frameworks for program execution and change management.
Job Requirements
- 7-10 years of related experience in multifamily property operations, process improvement, or organizational change, with a least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Experience working in multifamily property operations with Greystar preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, project management, or related field from an accredited college or university preferred; advanced degree preferred.
- Deep expertise in third-party property management operations, client service delivery models, and operational excellence frameworks.
- Proven ability to lead large-scale, complex programs across multiple workstreams and cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated success building and managing strategic stakeholder relationships at the executive level.
- Change management experience in real estate or similar industry with proven track record of driving adoption.
- Exceptional executive communication skills with ability to craft compelling narratives and present to senior leadership.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities with focus on business outcomes and operational impact.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management/collaboration tools, like Asana.

• Act as the primary operational extension and right hand to the Senior Director of Commercial Operations. • Drive priorities, manage execution, and ensure follow-through on key commercial initiatives. • Ability to collect, analyze, and prepare executive-ready materials, reporting, and insights for leadership, including C Suite and Board members. • Own reporting and analytics of core Sales Operations functions, including: • Pipeline and forecast reporting • Performance dashboards and KPI tracking • Territory and account management operations • Sales activity and productivity reporting • Analyze large, complex data sets to identify business trends • Partner closely with the Salesforce Manager to define reporting requirements and ensure data accuracy and consistency. • Proactively identify data trends, risks, and opportunities within pipeline, bookings, and revenue performance. • Drive weekly, monthly, and quarterly commercial reporting and forecast cadences, including: • Pipeline reviews • Forecast rollups (eventually in a dedicated platform) • Internal monthly reporting to key stakeholders.
