Role Description Willamette Valley Cancer Institute is looking for a Pharmacist to join their team! As the center grows and expands – offering more advanced treatment therapies and participating in cutting edge clinical trials – a strong pharmacist is needed to keep up with the increased bandwidth. Our team of pharmacists oversee our retail pharmacy and plays a crucial role in our patient care by clinically advising on our pharmaceutical regimens. A strong candidate is someone who has significant experience in a specialty retail setting, in a clinical setting, or in IV admixture. While oncology experience is strongly preferred, experience in a complex medical specialty can be transferable. The general pay scale for this position at WVCI is $125,000-$190,000. The actual hiring rate is dependent on many factors, including but not limited to: prior work experience, education, job/position responsibilities, location, work performance, etc. Employment Type: Full-time Location: Eugene, OR (Remote option also available) Responsibilities - Performs initial patient evaluations and work-up as it pertains to disease status and anticipated prescribed therapy. - Collects, analyzes, interprets and evaluates appropriate data relative to patient therapy. - Obtains histories and other patient data to optimize drug therapy. - Establishes therapeutic objectives and monitors patient for desired therapeutic outcomes. - Evaluates the significance of signs and symptoms relative to disease processes and recommends modifications in drug therapy. - Detects and evaluates the clinical importance of adverse reactions and complications associated with drug therapy. - Provides counseling and answers questions from patients, family and health care professionals concerning drug therapy. - Maintains active involvement with clinicians in the development and implementation of a standard drug order format and ordering process. - Maintains thorough and appropriate documentation in the patient clinical chart of physician orders and communication with other health care professionals. - Coordinates with physician staff and service providers in planning and implementing patient care plans to ensure safe and timely delivery of drug therapy. - Reviews and performs QA checks on all new and repeat medication orders. - May prepare or supervise the preparation and dispensing of drug therapy according to Company policies and procedures. - Participate in anticoagulation monitoring. - Administer vaccines as needed. - Participate in prescription procuring and dispensing programs including DUR. - Prepare and review educational materials for staff and patients. - Presents training and in-service programs as necessary. - May supervise the activity of pharmacy technicians. - Other duties as assigned. Qualifications - Bachelors or Pharm. D. degree from an accredited school of pharmacy. - Minimum 2 years of experience as registered pharmacist. - Hospital or clean room experience preferred. - Retail experience preferred. - Experience in a pharmacy with I.V. skills, oncology, or specialty area background strongly preferred. - Valid state licensure as a Registered Pharmacist. Role Description We are looking for a detail-oriented, analytically sharp Commissions Analyst to join our Finance team on a part-time basis. This role is central to ensuring our ~80-person sales organization is paid accurately, on time, and with full transparency. You will own end-to-end commission processing, rep-facing communication, and cross-functional reporting — working closely with Sales Leadership, HR, and Accounting. The ideal candidate thrives in structured monthly cycles, is comfortable managing multiple compensation structures simultaneously, and can translate complex data into clear, rep-friendly outputs. Schedule & Availability - Standard commitment of 20 hours per week, with the ability to flex up to 30 hours during peak periods (e.g., month-end close, plan rollouts) with written prior approval from your manager. - Required to maintain consistent availability windows during business hours on designated days each week for rep questions, stakeholder syncs, and real-time collaboration. - Outside of required availability windows, you have full flexibility to structure your remaining hours. - Responsiveness during availability windows is expected — reps and internal stakeholders should be able to reach you reliably during these times. Key Responsibilities - Commission Processing & Accuracy - Own the end-to-end monthly commission calculation process for approximately 80 sales reps across ~5 distinct compensation structures by role. - Audit and QA all commission data prior to submission — cross-referencing Salesforce data, comp plans and any applicable SPIFs, accelerators, or manual adjustments. - Submit finalized commission payroll data to the appropriate internal stakeholder (Finance / Payroll) by the established monthly deadline. - Maintain a living log of adjustments, retroactive corrections, and exception approvals for audit trail purposes. - Rep-Facing Statements & Communication - Generate and distribute monthly commission statements to all ~80 reps in both Excel and Google sheets, ensuring each statement is accurate, clearly formatted, and rep-friendly. - Field inbound questions and disputes from reps on an ad hoc basis during designated availability windows — acknowledging all inquiries within 24–48 hours with full responses delivered within 72 hours. - Maintain a structured inquiry log to track recurring issues, escalations, and resolution timelines, and surface patterns to leadership. - Accounting & GAAP Reporting Support - Provide the Accounting team with monthly commission accrual estimates and actuals to support GAAP-compliant expense recognition. - Prepare and deliver any supplemental commissions data needed for financial close, audits, or board-level reporting. - Collaborate on commission-related journal entries and variance analysis as needed. - New Hire Comp Plan Administration - Partner with HR and Sales Leadership to generate individualized compensation plan documents for new hires. - Manage the distribution and acknowledgment workflow for comp plans, ensuring signed copies are collected and filed in a timely manner. - Maintain a current, version-controlled library of all comp plan templates by role. - Process Improvement & Documentation - Identify and flag inefficiencies in the commission calculation or distribution workflow and propose process improvements. - Maintain thorough documentation of all calculation methodologies, plan rules, and system dependencies so processes are repeatable and auditable. - Support the buildout or refinement of commission tooling (Excel, Google Sheets, or dedicated commission software) as the business scales. Requirements - This is a part-time contract role. Hours beyond 20/week require written prior approval.
