Project Engineer I – Renewable Energy
Revamp Engineering, Inc.
• Responsible for information management and document control for assigned projects. • Organize and maintain project files, downloads, uploads, and meeting minutes. • Track and support closure of RFIs and submittals. • Coordinate and support the submittal of record drawings. • Support maintenance of project documentation in accordance with company procedures and client requirements. • Support Project Managers in monitoring project scope, schedule, and deliverables. • Assist in coordinating internal teams and external stakeholders as directed. • Acquire knowledge of PV system layouts and components such as modules, racking, inverters, and Balance of Systems (BOS). • Acquire foundational knowledge of project management principles in an engineering consulting environment. • Ensure compliance with company, industry, trade, and jurisdictional safety standards, practices, and codes. • Work under the direction of more senior project management staff. • Perform essential duties including meeting deliverables and deadlines. • Perform additional related duties as assigned or directed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or closely related field or substantial relevant working experience.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently with guidance.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to identify and solve routine problems with direction from senior staff.
- Foundational proficiency with Microsoft Office and document management systems.
- Prior internship or entry-level experience in engineering design, construction or similar environment.
- Prior exposure to project engineering or project coordination functions.

• Work on analytics, data visualization tools and UI builders for high-load analytical platform • Support existing and implement new platform features • Cooperate with members of the QA, Backend, Data analyst teams
• Perform risk-based delta validation for redesigned or replacement electronic components. • Ensure all component changes meet functionality, safety, reliability and compliance standards (ISO 26262, A-SPICE, AEC-Q100/Q200). • Create and execute validation plans, test methods and traceability per requirements. • Analyze test results, KPIs and prepare technical reports for internal and customer teams. • Work cross-functionally with Quality, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Suppliers. • Use key engineering tools such as JIRA, Arena PLM, 3DX, CANoe/CANalyzer, Siemens Capital, Altium, Ansys.
• Provide project management and engineering support for data center and industrial projects • Provide specialized commercial applied HVAC equipment selections and pricing • Prepare technical documentation including submittal packages, close-out documents, and others • Provide technical support for the sales of commercial air conditioning systems to customers and their respective consulting engineers • Have an ability to coordinate across multiple functions and to make decisions in a fast-paced environment • Manage Salesforce opportunities for internal tracking and strategizing organizational needs • Coordinate with Carrier Commercial Service organization to provide turn-key proposals for industrial and data center service
• Development of energy savings analysis tools for data from loggers, data acquisition systems (i.e. solar PV), cogeneration historians and building management systems (BMS) data using Python. • Plan and execute performance assurance and savings verification activities for assigned projects. • Collect field data, either on-site, remotely, or using other NORESCO resources and use that data to prepare monthly, quarterly and annual M&V reports as required for each project. • Assist with calculating energy savings in accordance with the M&V plan, including: Developing new and updating existing energy simulation models using methods which may include Excel bin model analysis, eQuest and/or EnergyPro tools. • Track changes to customer facilities that may affect the performance of installed ECMs. • Monitor and evaluate ECM performance remotely and on site; including data collection, review of metered data, utility bills, and BMS data. • With support from their manager create project and energy conservation measure (ECM) specific M&V approaches with Project Development teams based on customer requirements and scope of project. • Ensure those approaches are translated and captured in a detailed and clearly defined M&V plan. • Support M&V budget development and resource forecasting for M&V activities on assigned projects during project development, construction, and throughout the performance period. • Coordinate and review results of on-site inspections and O&M record reviews to verify performance and ongoing operation and maintenance practices for ECMs installed by NORESCO. • Participate in customer meetings to present findings from the ongoing M&V activities and reporting. • Perform quality control reviews for peer written customer deliverables (i.e. M&V reports).
