• Design and implement high-performance data processing and serving patterns across large-scale healthcare datasets using Spark, Python, Rust, and SQL. • Lead complex cross-functional initiatives, balancing trade-offs across scalability, reliability, performance, cost, and delivery speed. • Build and maintain robust data quality, validation, observability, lineage, monitoring, and alerting frameworks. • Architect scalable Healthcare Map data products that power APIs, analytics, internal tooling, and customer-facing applications. • Partner with Product, Data Science, and Platform teams to translate healthcare use cases into scalable technical solutions. • Drive engineering excellence across system design, code quality, testing, documentation, and CI/CD practices. • Mentor engineers through design reviews, technical coaching, and architectural guidance.
Job Requirements
- Experience designing data workflows, feature pipelines, or infrastructure that specifically supports AI/ML training, inference, experimentation, and monitoring.
- Proven experience building large-scale, production-grade data products and analytical systems.
- Strong expertise in SQL, distributed processing frameworks (e.g. Spark), cloud data platforms, and high-scale compute systems using Python and/or Rust.
- Demonstrated ability to design scalable data models, platform components, and distributed system architectures.
- Strong statistical and analytical skills; able to validate data quality and product outcomes through rigorous analysis.
- Clear communicator who can explain technical decisions, trade-offs, and risks to engineers, product partners, and leadership.

Role Description Cardinal Technology Systems Corp. is currently seeking a Jr. Data Analytics Engineer to work for our company. - Must possess DoD Top Secret, DHS EOD, CBP Full BI, or IT-I security clearance or have a current Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI). (Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies) - Assist in the design, development, and deployment of reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using business intelligence (BI) tools such as SAP Business Objects or similar platforms. - Collaborate with data engineering teams to support the use of dimensional models, including fact and dimension tables (star/snowflake schemas), for reporting. - Write and maintain SQL queries within Oracle and Databricks environments to extract and prepare data for reporting applications. - Work with business analysts and stakeholders to help gather requirements, translate business needs into technical specifications, and support the delivery of reporting solutions. - Assist in monitoring and improving the performance of reports and underlying queries to help ensure a reliable and user-friendly experience. - Gain exposure to and support the use of AWS services (e.g., S3, EMR, Redshift, Glue) for cloud-based reporting solutions. - Support the management of reporting assets, including documentation, version control, scheduled refreshes, and ongoing maintenance and enhancements.
