Job Description
Senior Sales Operations Administrator – Southeast
GuidePoint Security
• Will complete deal registrations for all account executives in their assigned region. • Utilize Salesforce.com to create and manage opportunities, track deal registrations, and maintain data integrity across customer and opportunity records. • Generate Salesforce.com reports including pipeline analysis, sales history, product penetration, and opportunity tracking to support Account Executives and customer presentations. • Develop and distribute ad-hoc reports and data analytics to support business decisions and regional forecast calls. • Request quotes from vendors and distributors and generate customer quotes for approved vendor portfolios.Provide pricing analysis and support to Account Executives, including creative • Pricing and payment solutions aligned with customer needs and company policies. • Serve as liaison between customers, vendors, Account Executives, and internal departments including Purchasing, Accounting, and Contracts. • Provide backup support to Sales Operations Specialists and Renewals Specialists, including renewal opportunity tracking and customer communications. • Support new account set-up processes, contact management, and promptly respond to internal and external inquiries. • Adhere to process changes as they are managed, reviewed and streamlined by Sales Operations Management to enhance deliverables. • Adhere to GuidePoint Security Core Values.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required. Associate Degree or equivalent from two year college or technical school preferred.
- 2+ years’ experience in a sales support or sales operations role required; IT industry background preferred.
- Prior experience in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software required, with strong Salesforce.com reporting and analytics experience preferred.
- Experience creating, customizing and distributing Salesforce.com reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Exposure to deal registration processes and vendor quote management.
- Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Office and Internet Navigation.
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Outstanding attention to detail and commitment to follow-through.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible work schedule required.
- Up to 10% travel annually required.
