• Manage application support team, including hiring, training, scheduling, and conducting semi-annual evaluations • Provide technical leadership on business systems architecture, application integration and software development • Ensure the smooth execution of incident management functions including application troubleshooting, root cause analysis, corrective action identification and implementation, preventive action identification and implementation, communication and reporting to all stakeholders • Evaluate current tools and processes to constantly improve maintenance and systems availability • Ensure critical business application uptime and availability SLAs are met consistently • Provide application support to users at global manufacturing, service, and warehouse locations and maintain existing applications • Serve as liaison between technology and business end-users • Identify, assess, and document business requirements, recommending business priorities and advising business on options, risks and costs versus benefits of various solutions • Triage incidents/problems with Manufacturing systems as they arise (as Tier II/III support), Problem-solving and analytical abilities to identify and resolve issues within Oracle EBS and either manage or directly perform enhancements/fixes to provide resolution satisfactory to our business partners • Lead and manage the application support including working with Oracle Support, External Service Providers and System Integrators to resolve application issues • Manage the application support and enhancement requests queue logged in the Service Desk application, ServiceNow, for Manufacturing and Quality applications. This will require conducting meetings with the business stakeholders, prioritizing requests, and driving resolution of the issues and requests • Manage and support the Change Control process for application issues • Implement new and enhancement projects from initiation to implementation phase including gathering requirements, writing functional design documents, communicating requirements to technical team members, writing test scripts, implementing, and training end users and IT support staff • Work across Oracle E-Business Suite modules including Bills of Material, Work-in-Process, Inventory, Planning and Scheduling, Procurement, Quality, and Supply Chain • Work on or support key processes and elements including work in process, manufacturing execution, bills of material, routers, planning and scheduling, inventory replenishment, serial-level transactions, purchase order processes, requisition/PO approval process, internal order/sales order process, receiving processes against POs/internal orders/inter-org shipments, outside processing, integration with outsourced warehouses, consigned inventory, incoming/in-process quality etc. • Strong Knowledge in Oracle API/ Interfaces in the area of Manufacturing and Quality Modules • Identify process improvements and work with business partners effectively to implement change • Guide internal/external teams in developing reports, customizations, interfaces and extensions for Oracle applications • Act as a liaison between business users and other technical resources, including ICU IT Infrastructure/Operations team members, and external service providers • Support and enhance Oracle Applications interfaces integrated with non-Oracle systems including MES • Create functional design, and perform application configuration • Drive test planning and execution • Train site application support teams in Oracle E-Business • Assist end users with day-to-day applications troubleshooting and end user questions • Participate in 24/7 department on-call program • Work on special projects as assigned
Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field from an accredited college or university is preferred
- Minimum 10 years of professional IT experience
- Minimum 7 years of Oracle EBS application experience with various modules (INV, PO, AP, OM, AR, shipping, pricing, discrete manufacturing, quality, etc.)
- Minimum 3 years in Oracle lead application support role
- Minimum 3 years of Oracle application development experience
