Job Description

Product Manager

SweatPals

• Own the roadmap and sprint pipeline across mobile and web—sequence work, track dependencies, and ensure the team is always building toward impact. • Lead standups, sprint planning, retros, QA, and hotfix triage with rigor and clarity. • Stay close to engineering velocity and proactively resolve scope, process, or team friction. • Define and own clear metrics frameworks at the squad level - MAU, GMV, retention, LTV—and track progress to OKRs. • Build and improve tracking plans; partner with eng to implement Amplitude events and dashboards. • Drive insights from the data and surface the “so what”—turn dashboards into product action. • Lead user interviews, shadow sessions, and concept testing to uncover real pain points. • Translate feedback into hypotheses, prototypes, and MVPs that feel distinctly “Sweatpalsy.” • Run fast experiments, measure outcomes, and double down on what resonates. • Break down complex technical ideas so anyone—from eng to execs—can follow the story. • Maintain a crisp flow of communication in Slack, Loom, Notion, and stakeholder reviews. • Constantly reprioritize across a portfolio of initiatives—balancing speed, dependencies, and long-term bets. • Uphold a high bar for design, UX, and build quality across every feature—ensuring the product feels cohesive, polished, and deeply user-loved. • Partner closely with Design, Engineering, and GTM to align on quality from first sketch to final ship. • Identify gaps in execution, advocate for excellence, and push for refinements when the experience isn’t ready to ship. • Bring taste and product judgment—knowing when something’s good, and when it’s great. • Champion a culture of care and craft, where every release builds toward a product users are proud to use and share.

Job Requirements

  • 3–6 years of experience shipping consumer, marketplace or building SAAs for SMBs products—ideally mobile-first.
  • Treat tools like Linear, Notion, Amplitude, and Loom as second nature.
  • Love getting your hands dirty—from clarifying ambiguous specs to poking at broken dashboards.
  • Constantly seek context and ask sharp questions that move the product forward.
  • Translate chaos into action plans—and aren’t afraid to step outside the roadmap to unlock 10x outcomes.
  • Stay curious about new technologies, especially AI tools and systems that improve speed, quality, or personalization.
  • Take pride in building high-quality products and find joy in the craft—from thoughtful UX to crisp execution.
  • Are energized by fitness, community, or creators—or just believe movement makes everything better.
