IVS Sales Engineer
Nilfisk
• Visit industrial sites to assess production environments and design the right vacuum/filtration setup • Own the sales lifecycle: from lead generation and site surveys to proposal development, negotiation, and closing • Provide technical consultancy in close partnership with our global IVS Competence Center and internal stakeholders • Oversee solution implementation, including training, site acceptance, and after-sales support • Manage customer relationships with operations and production managers, and occasionally purchasing • Ensure accurate CRM tracking and project reporting • Proactively support strategic growth of the IVS segment across your region
Job Requirements
- Solid experience in industrial equipment sales or technical B2B consultancy
- Previous experience in OEM, vacuum systems, dust extraction, or similar technology is a plus
- Technical education (diploma or higher), or equivalent experience
- Fluent in English and native speaker of Czech or Slovak
- Skilled in CRM tools like Salesforce
- Comfortable navigating long consultative sales cycles (6–12 months)
- Willing and able to travel frequently across assigned region

As a Front End Application Engineer, you will: - Provide design assistance, value engineering, and product-specific application support to various stakeholders. - Enhance the value generated for customers in the territory/market for electro-technical installations. - Provide necessary safety precautions and calculations during FEED, quotation, and pre-order stages. - Act as lead engineer for larger and complex projects. - Understand the overall Data Center value chain and translate requirements into solutions based on Eaton MVPD product portfolio. - Work on detailed designs focused on switchgear, transformers, and modular products. - Collaborate across different business units to align with complete DC solutions. - Drive the technical quality and content of the quotation process. - Read, interpret, and agree on customer specifications to create competitive Eaton solutions. - Understand MV switchgear and transformer design requirements and support during the tendering stage. - Work proactively with teams to establish relationships with lead electrical consulting engineers and design build contractors. - Develop pipeline through demand creation at influencers engaging on early designs on strategic DC accounts. - Participate in understanding current market requirements to drive product technical features. - Lead technical evaluation, feasibility, and execution of multiple projects in parallel. - Analyze electrical and/or mechanical faults and advise customers on technical solutions. - Advise on 3rd party or special equipment materials for competitive solutions. - Write technical RFQs for non-Eaton items that are part of a project.
