Role Description We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Business Partner Export Control & Sanctions EMEA to act as a trusted interface and advisor for the regions. In this role, you support Export Control Coordinators and the central Export Control Department with complex international topics, contributing your strong local and global export control expertise. - Regional interface: Act as the primary point of contact for export control and sanctions topics across the EMEA region and ensure effective communication between regional teams and the Export Control Department. - Advisory support: Support and advise Export Control Coordinators and internal stakeholders on complex and non-standard export control and sanctions matters. - Business partner screening: Support the screening of existing and new business partners with regard to final destination, end-use and applicable international sanctions lists. - Product & technology classification: Assist in the classification of products, equipment and technology in line with national and international dual-use regulations. - Project support: Advise and support project teams on business activities involving embargoed countries or sensitive customers and suppliers, including products, equipment, software and technology. - Knowledge sharing: Maintain and share expertise on local and international export control and sanctions regulations within the organization. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Engineering or a related field - Several years of international experience in import/export, trade compliance and export control - Proven expertise in export control and sanctions compliance - Strong analytical skills and a structured, solution-oriented mindset - Very good communication and advisory skills - Fluent English and German skills (written and spoken) - Additional experience in related areas such as Law or Economics - Experience in international business projects and escalation or crisis situations - Knowledge of IT systems related to export control and sanctions - Applications from severely handicapped people are welcome. Role Description We are currently seeking a Data Analyst - Business Analyst to join our team in Remote, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN). Job Duties: Data Analyst - Draft the scope for the data and analytics workstream with understanding of all end user requirements and KPIs. - Develop BRDs, data mapping specifications, refined PBIs with clear articulation of user stories and acceptance criteria for data modelers and data engineers. - Analyse delegated authority data source through profiling, exploratory queries including quality validation to support medallion layer transformations in data and analytics platform. - Ensures all quality criteria for every requirement and evaluates according to importance and/or stability. - Undertake thorough analysis of existing delegated authority reports and extracts, understanding sources, transformations and logic for reuse while identifying scope for new requirements and data specifications. - Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, data modelers and data architects to ensure mapping logic meets analytics, regulatory and data governance requirements. Qualifications - Experience as Business/System/Data analyst delivering data projects for P&C, Specialty insurance projects with exposure to Lloyd’s/London Market and Syndicate data structures is required. - Domain knowledge of Delegated authority mainly working on VIPR integration can be advantageous. - Excellent communication for cross-functional teams and building working relationships with all key stakeholders is essential. - Proficiency in Databricks medallion architecture and understanding of logical and physical modelling. - Proven ability to document requirements and produce detailed mapping and data transformation specifications. - Understanding of MGA and Lloyd's Market operating models, including their unique challenges and requirements. - Strong understanding of GDPR, Solvency II, and Lloyd’s regulatory and reporting requirements. - Functional knowledge of cloud data platforms (Azure data factory, Databricks) can be advantageous.
