• Handle administrative claims before public agencies, including client intake, document review, filing of requests, and drafting petitions and appeals related to the granting, review and maintenance of benefits • Conduct case viability analyses, identifying risks, opportunities and the best social security strategy for each matter • Draft and review more complex pleadings, advise clients on social security rights, perform simulations and explain possibilities for benefit grants or reviews • Support organization of workflows and routines in the social security area, contributing to standardization and continuous improvement of the firm's processes • Client relationship management and client service • Prepare legal opinions and social security planning

Job Requirements

  • Law degree with active OAB registration (Brazilian Bar Association)
  • Postgraduate specialization in Social Security Law is a plus
  • Solid experience in Social Security Law, with knowledge of the RGPS (General Social Security Regime) and extensive experience with RPPS (Regime Próprio de Previdência Social — public-sector pension regimes)
  • Previous experience in social security/pension calculations, pension planning and drafting legal opinions is desirable
  • Familiarity with legal practice management software such as Astrea and with pension-calculation tools such as Sonprev and Previus is preferred

Title: Sr. Real Estate Counsel - Renewables Location: United States, Remote Department: Job Description: Unison is a global telecom and renewables infrastructure investment firm founded in 2003. We today own 2,200 sites and facilities hosting mission-critical wireless and telecom transmission assets and renewable power generation projects. The Team: The Senior Real Estate Counsel, Renewables will play a key role in Unison’s core mission.
