Your New Role: - Perform complex underwriting activities in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. - Utilize product line expertise to analyze business prospects and recommend profitable risk selection. - Forge and maintain strong relationships with agency leaders to ensure sound underwriting decision-making and support business growth. - Optimize portfolio growth by evaluating and rating complex business and communicating high-risk exposures. - Lead profitability and process improvement initiatives by informing senior leaders on best practices and guiding strategic plans. - Build relationships and facilitate projects by sharing expertise, resolving issues, and monitoring the impact of change. - Manage documents following underwriting standards and policies to ensure adherence to profitability objectives. - Manage budgeted resources by forecasting needs and accounting for expenses to achieve fiscal responsibility. Compensation Package: The salary range for this role is provided above. This is the national range for location(s) listed. The salary offer will be decided based on the role's complexity, its location, and the candidate’s professional background, including their education and experience. Beyond the base salary, regular full-time and part-time employees will also be eligible for QBE’s annual discretionary bonus plan based on business and individual performance.
