Role Description Hire Digital is seeking Competitive Intelligence Consultants to support a recurring strategic intelligence engagement within the medical aesthetics sector. This project will focus on delivering quarterly market intelligence reports covering: - Competitor activity - Regulatory developments - Product launches - Pricing movements - Partnerships - Broader commercial trends across key Asian markets The core markets of focus will be South Korea, Thailand, and China, with broader regional support considered where relevant. This is an ideal opportunity for professionals with experience in: - Market research - Healthcare consulting - Business intelligence - Commercial strategy - Regulatory intelligence - Competitive intelligence These professionals should be able to translate market developments into clear, actionable business insights. Engagement Type: - Project-based / freelance consulting engagement - Fixed-cost quarterly reporting scope - Potential recurring long-term opportunity based on performance and client needs Responsibilities: - Monitor competitor activity across the medical aesthetics landscape, including injectables, fillers, toxins, devices, skincare, and adjacent categories. - Track product launches, approvals, pipeline developments, pricing changes, and promotional activity. - Research regulatory developments across the primary focus markets of South Korea, Thailand, and China. - Analyze partnerships, channel developments, physician engagement programs, and market expansion activity. - Conduct primary and secondary research using public sources, industry databases, interviews, and local market intelligence where relevant. - Identify emerging trends, whitespace opportunities, and strategic risks across the region. - Prepare quarterly market intelligence reports, dashboards, presentations, and executive summaries. - Translate complex market and regulatory developments into concise recommendations for senior stakeholders. - Support ad hoc strategic projects such as competitor benchmarking, market entry assessments, and portfolio reviews. Qualifications - 3+ years of experience in market intelligence, competitive intelligence, consulting, strategy, market research, regulatory affairs, or commercial roles within healthcare, beauty, or medical aesthetics. - Strong knowledge of at least one priority market: South Korea, Thailand, or China. - Candidates based in India or the Philippines with strong regional research capability are also welcome to apply. - Experience with healthcare, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, skincare, wellness, or beauty sectors preferred. - Familiarity with leading global and regional medical aesthetics companies such as Merz, Galderma, Allergan/AbbVie, Hugel, Classys, Bloomage, and similar players is a plus. - Strong desk research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights and presentations. - Strong PowerPoint, Excel, and written communication skills. - Ability to work independently and meet recurring quarterly deadlines. - Fluency in English and at least one relevant local language (Korean, Thai, Mandarin, etc.) preferred.
