This role involves understanding internal & external customer needs, identifying sales opportunities, and collaborating with the field sales team to drive revenue growth. This position is remote, but it is preferred that the candidate lives in the Indiana market. JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILS - Develop and cultivate new sales opportunities by effectively managing leads through various channels, including lead follow-up, outbound calls, and emails. - Conduct thorough analysis of customer needs and requirements to identify potential opportunities for Viega products and services. - Route qualified leads to the appropriate team member for further development and closure, ensuring seamless coordination between inside and field sales teams. - Drive sales closure and achieve quarterly sales objectives by effectively managing the sales pipeline and leveraging opportunities for revenue growth. - Conduct extensive research on target accounts, identify key decision-makers, and generate interest in Viega offerings. - Maintain and expand the database of prospects within assigned territories, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and opportunities. - Collaborate closely with field sales representatives to build and nurture the sales pipeline, providing support and assistance as needed to drive successful deal closures. - Perform other duties as required or assigned to support overall sales objectives and organizational goals. - Performs other duties as required or assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Word/Excel, PowerPoint, Business Warehouse, and Customer Relations Management software. - Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to understand and address customer needs effectively. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities. - Excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written. - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced sales environment. - Proficient in business mathematics and data analysis techniques. - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
