• Act as a trusted strategic advisor to senior stakeholders across R&D, Clinical, Medical Affairs, Commercial, Market Access, Procurement, Legal, Compliance, and IT for CLM and contract intelligence initiatives in HLS. • Shape multi-year transformation roadmaps that leverage Icertis and Vera AI across use cases such as clinical trial and investigator agreements, CRO and vendor contracts, market access and payer agreements, provider and distribution contracts, rebates and pricing, GPO/IDN agreements, safety and quality-related contracts, and real-world evidence partnerships. • Bring an informed perspective on HLS regulatory, compliance, and risk themes (e.g., GxP, promotional compliance, anti-kickback/anti-bribery, transparency and spend reporting, data privacy and patient data, safety reporting) and translate them into contract data, process, and control requirements. • Own the end-to-end CLM and contract intelligence architecture for HLS clients, spanning ICI, Vera apps, and key platforms such as ERP, CRM, R&D and clinical systems, PV/safety, quality, pricing and contracting, data platforms, and document management. • Define target-state processes and operating models for how contracts and obligations are authored, negotiated, approved, executed, and monitored across the HLS value chain (R&D, clinical, launch, commercial, and post-market).
Job Requirements
- 18+ years of experience in Healthcare and Life Sciences, including at least 12+ years in solution leadership roles (domain architect, program lead, or equivalent) for large transformation programs at global HLS enterprises or major consulting/SI firms.
- Deep hands-on knowledge of HLS business domains such as pharma and biotech (R&D, clinical, medical affairs, commercial), medical devices and diagnostics, healthcare providers and systems, payers, or health-tech.
- Strong understanding of how contracts underpin the HLS value chain—e.g., clinical and research agreements, CRO/vendor contracts, licensing and collaboration deals, payer and market access agreements, provider and distribution contracts, rebates and chargebacks, and data-sharing agreements.
- Demonstrated experience leading or governing large-scale CLM or contract-intelligence programs—preferably with Icertis Contract Intelligence or other leading CLM platforms—within HLS.
- Proven track record architecting and integrating solutions across CLM and key HLS platforms such as ERP, CRM, R&D/clinical systems, PV/safety, quality, pricing and market access tools, and data platforms.
- Practical understanding of HLS regulatory and compliance drivers (e.g., GxP, anti-kickback/anti-bribery, transparency and spend reporting, data privacy and patient data, safety reporting, promotional compliance) and how they translate into contractual controls and data.
- Strong grasp of GenAI/LLM concepts (prompting, retrieval, orchestration, agents) and how to safely apply them to contracts and documents in regulated HLS environments.
- Demonstrated Senior Director-level success in Professional Services or consulting—owning solution strategy, executive stakeholder management, and delivery of multi-country or multi-region programs.
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills—able to simplify complex architectures and regulatory constraints for VP/CXO audiences and align business, medical, compliance, and IT stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., MS, PharmD, MD, MBA) preferred.

Director, Foundation and Corporate Relations Summary The primary purpose of the Director of Foundation & Corporate Relations (FCR) is to promote and support the mission of Philanthropy through seeking foundation and corporate foundation dollars. Reporting to the Associate Vice President (AVP), Foundation & Corporate Relations, the Director will be a seasoned leader excited about building outreach, expanding the portfolio for foundation giving as part of MD Anderson's upcoming campaign, and maximizing philanthropic support through grants. The Director will manage a portfolio of independent, institutional foundations and corporate foundations, and be MD Anderson's representative at external meetings, orchestrating a team-based approach with faculty leaders and other members of Philanthropy, as appropriate. The Director will establish and maintain timely and effective communication with institutional, high-asset foundations and corporate foundations, and strategically positioning our institutional priorities and research projects in front of aligned foundations and corporate foundations. The director is expected to take the lead in providing education to faculty in all aspects of grant submission through on-campus or virtual workshops, website and other appropriate avenues. Stakeholder Engagement (40%) Display the ability to investigate, qualify and solicit new donors to the institution. Display social awareness, professional etiquette, and the ability to interact and build rapport with donors, faculty and institutional leaders. Engage with varied constituencies with social fluency and garner their trust as to influence donor behavior. The size and mix of the portfolio will be based on the need of the team and the division's strategic focus over the period of the campaign. The individual has to create and foster a collaborative work environment among different groups across the institution and within the Division. - Participate and strategically outline activities, proposal preparation, strategy development and solicitation executed within 12 - 24 month timeframe. - Steward relationships with current institutional partners, guided by regular portfolio review and team-driven strategy for continued giving. - Shoulder the responsibility to ensure data integrity and communication related to assigned foundations and corporations: research collaboration kickoff process for new relationships, grant acceptance due diligence, briefing the team on key terms and obligations from the support, entering information in CRM, and ensuring everyone knows and understands their roles and responsibilities in the partnership or grant acceptance agreement. - Manage junior staff as hiring proceeds to support the expansion of the program, ensuring that individual's professional growth, effectively and mentoring to prioritize workload to meet constantly changing demands and policy adherence. • Define and evolve Calendly’s Customer Education strategy, setting a clear vision for how educational content — video demos, self-serve tutorials, Help Center articles, Learning Hub courses, and live programming — maps to customer segments, product surfaces, and lifecycle stages from onboarding through deep feature adoption. • Lead and develop your team of education specialists and multimedia content producers, setting clear goals, providing coaching, and building an environment where each person can do their best work. Hold the team accountable to outcomes while advocating for the resources needed to execute. • Partner closely with Product Marketing to ensure education content is embedded in every product launch — developing Help Center articles, demo videos, feature walkthroughs, and in-product guidance that help customers understand and adopt new capabilities quickly. • Partner with Customer Success and Support to identify where customers are getting stuck, surface education content gaps that are contributing to support volume or churn risk, and build content that proactively answers the questions customers have before they need to ask. • Build and scale the Calendly Learning Hub as a best-in-class self-serve education destination — developing a curriculum strategy, overseeing course development, and creating a content roadmap that keeps pace with Calendly’s product evolution. • Raise the bar on multimedia content quality across the education function, partnering with your multimedia producer and the broader creative team to develop demo videos, feature tutorials, and educational experiences that are compelling, on-brand, and built for how customers actually learn. • Establish KPIs and a reporting cadence to measure the impact of education content — tracking metrics like feature activation rates, Help Center deflection, Learning Hub engagement, and time-to-value for new users. Use data and insights to continuously improve strategy and communicate program effectiveness to senior leadership. • Build the operational systems and workflows that allow your team to produce high-quality content at the speed of Calendly’s product cadence, including processes for content planning, review, localization, and maintenance.
