Role Description This position supports general ledger accounting, financial reporting, tax compliance, and annual audits within the accounting team. Responsibilities - Perform month-end close procedures, including balance sheet, revenue, and expense reconciliations. - Assist with customer profitability analysis and make the necessary corrections. - Perform weekly cash flow analysis. - Assist with reporting for federal tax preparation and annual audits. - Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures. - Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. - Perform Accounts Receivable functions, including check deposit, customer receipt/credit memo application, and resolution of any payment issues. - File WA B&O taxes, including annual Nexus apportionment reconciliation. - Administration of corporate credit cards, Concur expense reporting, and employee reimbursement. - Process vendor invoices by verifying transaction information, preparing disbursements, and obtaining authorization of payment. - Liaise with the team to improve financial procedures. - Manage the annual 1099 reporting process, including audit of vendor payment coding. - Assist with company bank account(s), loans, and credit accounts. - Monitor email inboxes and resolve issues as necessary. - Maintain the customer and vendor database in the accounting system. - Share knowledge and train other team members. - Additional duties as assigned. Qualifications - Must be able to legally work in the country where this position is located without visa sponsorship. - Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. - 5-7 years of accounting experience. - This position requires up to 5% travel. Preferred Qualifications - CPA certification. • Own the end-to-end reconciliation process for Premier, Onsite, and complex CAM association portfolios • Prepare and deliver comprehensive monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and GAAP compliance • Record journal entries, categorize transactions, and validate proper classification of expenses and income • Manage bank loans, lines of credit, special assessments, and reserve transfers with full documentation • Investigate and resolve complex reconciliation discrepancies, escalating as needed • Verify invoice documentation and support disbursement request approvals • Support budget preparation and forecasting activities in coordination with U.S.-based leadership • Fulfill auditor requests and provide thorough line-item analysis during audit cycles • Identify and propose process improvements within accounting operations
