Field Applications Engineer
Mini-Circuits
Role Description Be a part of Mini-Circuits Global Applications Team! For over 55 years, our customers have come to depend upon our customer service team to provide highly detailed and quick responses to support their designs. This role of Field Applications Engineer is a critical part to the technical support that we provide. - You will have the opportunity to work with your peers to gather and present data to our customers. - Provide recommendations on which part is most efficient in the customer's design and help debug any questions they have. - Attend regional & new opportunity reviews and learn how Mini-Circuits achieve quality and speed at an affordable price! - Actively participate in customer meetings and calls while working alongside our quality, marketing, and production team to support our customers. - Build relationships with our customers and partner reps to ensure that Mini-Circuits is their preferred RF & Microwave Supplier. - Those who obsess with supporting our customers, an eagerness to close on new opportunities and an attitude that aligns with our guiding principles will do well in this role. Qualifications - A minimum of 5-year experience in design, product, evaluation, test or sales of engineering products in an RF/Microwave environment. - Bachelor’s degree in engineering: EE preferred. - Use of Keysight’s Advanced Design System (ADS). - Designed / Supported RF Systems such as transceivers, radio and radar. - Designed / Supported filters in a system design. Requirements - Utilizing experience, provides technical support at an advanced level in all areas of applications engineering tasks. - Respond to customers’ technical questions regarding Mini-Circuits products. - Provide preliminary evaluation of customers’ requests for new products and work with marketing and engineering to satisfy customers’ needs. - Participate in regional opportunity review to support customers in system design and product identification. - Visit customers to promote new products and discuss technical issues. - Coordinate opportunities with sales reps and customers. - Assist in defining and implementing department goals. - Collaborate in preparation of application notes. - Troubleshooting and debugging with our customers on utilization of Mini-Circuits products (e.g. Filters, amplifiers, front-end modules). - Review technical documents in support of other Mini-Circuits departments. - Assist in training new department members. - Review and approve sample data. - Train new members on department documents. Benefits - Salary Range: $117,500 - $145,000 per year.
