Product Marketing Manager
Ren
• Own the strategy for how Ren drives advisor engagement through Charitable Strategists and partner-facing teams • Identify key advisor opportunities — such as year-end giving, tax events, and liquidity moments — and build targeted programs around them • Ensure field teams are equipped to turn conversations into action through talking points, one-to-one emails, presentations, and related tools • Design and launch advisor-facing campaigns that can be deployed by strategists across partner channels • Build repeatable campaign frameworks encompassing emails, talking points, webinars, and follow-up sequences • Develop high-impact emails, decks, one-pagers, and talk tracks designed for real advisor conversations • Create simple, actionable materials that are easy for the field to use in live interactions • Maintain and continuously evolve a library of field-ready content • Act as a strategic partner to Charitable Strategists and Relationship Managers • Support key initiatives, campaigns, and high-priority field opportunities • Ensure strong alignment between centrally developed resources and field-level needs • Gather insights from advisor conversations and field interactions • Identify patterns, objections, and opportunities to refine messaging and programs • Feed insights back into product marketing, product development, and broader organizational strategy.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, finance, or a related field; equivalent experience considered
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing, field enablement, or growth marketing, with demonstrated success developing campaigns and materials that drive measurable engagement
- Proven ability to create field-ready content — emails, decks, talk tracks, one-pagers — for use in live advisor or sales interactions
- Experience working directly with field-facing teams such as sales, relationship managers, or client strategists
- Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial or product concepts into clear, actionable messaging.
- Background in fintech, wealth management, philanthropic services, or broader financial services
- Familiarity with advisor behavior, distribution models, or partner-facing go-to-market strategies
- Experience designing repeatable campaign frameworks across multiple distribution channels.

Role Description The Director of Brand and Product Marketing leads how Sequencing shows up in the world and how customers understand what we sell. You own our brand story, our product positioning, and how we bring new whole genome and health insight products to market so more people can outsmart their genes. You report to the marketing leader and work across product, science, growth, and customer teams to turn complex genomics into clear, human language that drives trust, adoption, and revenue. - Define and protect Sequencing's brand so it feels clear, trustworthy, science forward, and human across every touchpoint. - Craft simple, compelling positioning and messaging for our DNA, genome, and personalized health products. - Build and run go to market plans for new product and feature launches across web, email, social, partners, and in product education. - Partner with product and science to translate complex genomic and bioinformatics capabilities into easy to follow benefits, stories, and use cases. - Create and maintain a messaging and story framework that keeps all teams on the same page when talking about our platform and whole genome sequencing. - Lead brand campaigns that grow awareness, trust, and preference among health conscious consumers, healthcare professionals, and research partners. - Develop clear narratives and content that support our mission to make genomic health insights accessible, actionable, and meaningful for everyone. - Work with growth marketing to align brand and product messaging with performance channels. - Guide the look and feel of key assets like the website, landing pages, email templates, and educational content. - Use customer research, testing, and data to refine messaging, offers, and experiences. - Enable sales, partnerships, and customer support with clear product one pagers, decks, FAQs, and talk tracks. - Steward our voice and tone guidelines so every communication sounds like Sequencing. - Build simple processes that keep brand and product marketing work organized, measurable, and aligned with company goals. Qualifications - 8+ years leading brand and product marketing with ownership of positioning, messaging, and go to market for consumer, health, or tech products. - Experience shaping brand and product strategy for a science driven or health related company. - Strength in developing brand positioning, story frameworks, and voice guidelines that non marketers can use. - Proven ability to lead cross functional initiatives with product, science, design, growth, and leadership. - Hands on experience bringing technical or data heavy products to market, ideally in biotech, genomics, health tech, or consumer health. - Ability to write clear positioning, value props, and customer stories that tie genomic insights to real health outcomes. - Skill at turning complex genomics and bioinformatics topics into plain language content. - Comfort building go to market plans and launch playbooks across web, lifecycle, content, and partner channels. - Experience enabling sales, partnerships, and customer support with simple, accurate product narratives. - Comfort setting up simple brand and product health measures and using data to refine messaging. - Experience working in a remote, fast moving environment and communicating clearly in writing.
